Modding Requests Thread

I wish I knew how to do this but I'm rubbish with graphics stuff. Could anyone make an OSD mod which removes the rpm indicator in the lower right of the screen? Or maybe give me detailed (...very, very detailed instructions...I'm a noob lol) on how to do it?

Many thanks in advance to anyone that can assist

You just need to open up the frontend file/ b-osd.pssg with Ryders PSSG doobery.

Extract all the dds files that you wish to remove from the screen.

Open the DDS files in the editor that you are using, and paint the alpha channel black, and the top texture white.

Once done re-save them as DDS files and re-import to the original location and save.

This should make everything you altered transparent.

Thanks for the replay bud, but this is where I lose you...I don't know what editor to use. I have Photoshop but I'm too nooby to know what I'm doing with it . If there's a free editor that's widely accepted (and easy) to do this kind of work, I'm all ears

Have you tried the one I did for 2012 and sent you?

That might still work....or is this one you are wanting different from that?

Hello!

Can you do a GP2 mod? :D With GP2 drivers, skins, helmets ... and performance and an AI adapted?

Thanks in advance
Way too work and not possible with skinning problems, i still wonder why it's so hard to do a little research before asking. In the last year game there is a full gp2 mod but with this game not possible with the cars. Of course if you're satisfied with the driver suits, helmets, crew performance it still can be done.

Sorry I knew there was a problem, but because I've seen new skins I thought this problems were solved :D
But do you know if it will be possible when you will get better the way skins were done?

No way. I can't get any better at skinning as i'm already very good :). It's the texture itself that is the problem not mine skills.

Mind if someone can do a Winfield version of the FW21 plus edit it with proper drivers?

In other words, replace Prost with Alex Zanardi. Of course, if it's at all possible.

Hi everyone, I guess I'll announce here since I am technically making a request.

I'm making a True to Life AI mod for 2013 (I know I said I wasn't going to...but hell if I'm not going to drive around in that beautiful Ferrari ) anyway...I'm looking to get some feedback on the following:

During qualifying, if you accelerate time, do the AI start posting very fast (or slow) laptimes?

If you've encountered this, please send me a message with the track(s) you're having time acceleration issues at.

As well, if you find tracks where the tyre wear is too excessive, please let me know which track(s).

Thanks
