When doing a livery can we somehow disable the game-specific numbers?

Game-specific numbers will be hidden when the graphics are set to Ultra Low.

i dont know for sure but i think they are compressed inside files at this folder \GRID Autosport\download

sure sure , all dlc cars are in the dlc folder in GRID Autosport\download but as in grid 2 if you known the right folder names of the dlc cars , like loore gived us for gird 2 , and when you creat those car folders in car/model/carname and add livery's or cam files inside this car folder , then the dlc are moded , but as defautl the dlc not showing in the car/models folder we have to add it by our self.

That car name list from all DLC cars would be more than welcome..

Does anyone know if it is possible to recompress the pssg files after modded so that they have a smaller size like the stock ones?

Just put the modded file back into the fake .pssg file you extracted it from before.
