Don't forget there's a <carname>2.ctf in the cars\<carname>2-folder and Marussia has KERS disabled at the database by default [f1teams > "has_kers" > check]

Yes, I've changed both of those. I hadn't changed "virtual performance" in "f1teams," kinda feel like that might be my magic bullet but I'm not sure.

Might be a stupid question, but after installing the 2013 Mod (from v1tek) and replacing the files because a problem occured my cars are all black, and despite putting the old skins on. Can I do something other than reinstalling?

You can force Steam to recheck the files and download any broken. modified, or out of date files, by telling Steam to verify the game files.

Run Steam > Right Click on F1 2012 > Select 'Properties' > Select 'Local Files' Tab > Select 'Verify Integrity of Game Cache

You will end up with a standard fully patched game

It would appear I got it to work. When I posted the previous message I had not updated "virtual performance" or copied over the balanced ctf files.....Not saying this is what solved it for me but this is where I am now......I was also having issues setting up my wheel properly which I managed to finally do.

Here are my results after getting everything in order:

I did laps in Melbourne with Marussia then did some in a Lotus to compare and I was virtually identical....then I tried running a Caterham and it was like driving a duck boat, I was 2 seconds slower no matter what.

In career I finished in top spot in practice in a Marussia so I would say I figured it out.

When i accelerate i get sucked into the seat really far using cockpit view. I would like to make this affect less stronger so which line in the camera file do i need to edit to make inertia force not too strong?

Does anyone know how to fix this massive understeer? I did download Dual Boot Pirelli tyre mod but not sure if thats what causing the problem as usual i didnt back up the original data.

Hm, I'm not sure which mod causes this but I've got a strange bug. I have career on 50% but when I do the quali and end up in Q2 like 12th place, the race will be set to 25%. I have to go to the main menu and reenter again for the game to set the distance to 50% ...

Edit: Ok this bug became even more hilarious: I had a 2stop strategy, so I came into the box in round 9 from soft to hard and went again into the box at lap 20 for hard to soft ... suddenly my crew tells me with these used tires I can push earlier ... used tires? Yeah, I got the soft from my first stint back on my car ... dark orange status ... wth is this?
