Hi what do i have to mod to drive Lotus in Season 1? My game has been corrupted over 7 times now and i am tired of redoing this young driver test over and over every time my game gets corruped

Open up the database with RDE and click on the f1teams tab. You'll see a column named 'id'. Just swap the number of Lotus in that column with that of one of the default start teams.
As for your game getting corrupted after several races, it sounds like your game is not patched properly as I had similar issues when the game first came out, but they went away after the second (I think) patch...
My problem: I want to start a career with a competitive Marussia and I don't know how to do it.
I copied the Lotus Renault track files, renamed them.
enabled kers, copied values in the "f1teams" and "ai_engine_power_per_tier" tables in database....and yet I'm not seeing a performance benefit.
Any thoughts? Should I copy "balanced" ctf as well?

the only thing that changes anything for YOU ... IS balanced .ctf files, nothing else matters.
ai_engine_power bla bla is completely useless you can set it to 100 (same at f1teams engine_power) and it does not change anything at all, this game is so stupidely programmed, you can even change the mass of the car in .ctf files to thousands or zero and it has no effect, only the aero stuff ...

Forget what I said, somehow I switched it *cough* track is for player's car - balanced is for ai so changing the mass has an effect after all as well *cough* mea culpa, somehow I always thought it'd be counterwise but I've all files equal ^__^Thanks so much Melphiz, gonna give this a try later.
