i deleted the files for the osd-display, without a backup
please help!!!

You can get all your original files back by running Steam > Right Click on F1 2012 > Properties > Local Files tab > Verify integrity of game cache

All missing, corrupted and changed files will be downloaded and installed automatically, leaving you with a standard fully patched game

hey all, was wondering if there is a way to make the marussia team a mid/top team, i've tried quite a few things with some of the files, but i just cant seem to work it out, any help would be greatly appreciated.

The only solution i know works only for the player, not for tha ai. The way to do it is to change your CTF files (car folder, mr2 folder, track folder) with another good team, then replace the team name (like MC2 for example) with the correct one (MR2) for each track. Should work !

The same works for AI \tracks is for AI \balance is for player.
Also: Do not forget to set the TIER in database higher as Marussia should be Tier 4 default so a higher tier should as well increase the performance.
Last but not least, don't forget to edit the drivers from Marussia, it's useless having a top car when the driver does many mistakes or goes slow in a corner and slow out ;)

Could anyone tell me how i can view my helmets and my car skins in 3d view in my photoshop c6 i have installed the nvidia dds tool but yet i cannot find how i can open in 3d

Dear friends, how can I increase the top speed of my formula 1 car? In some circuits the top speed, using KERS & DRS, reaches 300 km/h only. It could reach 330 km/h. Even if I use the lowest downforce, still the top speed does not exceed 300 km/h. I play the Career Mode.

You have to open the models ML2166 uploaded and "paste" your skins onto the models.

He uploaded them to the Modding Guides and FAQs section.

Here's a crude step by step:

1. Download the 3D model you need.
2. Open the 3D file.
3. Look for the corresponding art sublayer and double click it......it will open a new window for the linked art file.
4. Paste your skin onto the top most layer of that linked art file.
5. Go back to the 3D file and it should automatically actualize.

I would recommend keeping your skin and the linked art file skin separate as Photoshop is prone to getting pissed and suddenly quitting on you. Also, the auto actualization is temperamental too.

An added benefit of the models is that you can paint directly onto them and it will actualize back to the linked, flat art file. You can just open the car model, set the view however you need it to be and place the logo against the curvilinear body and not have to worry about warping it yourself.
