Which thread???? Sorry!
Haha no mate. Ive edited my post you quoted to make it more clear lol.. was asking if you guys could answer the guy I originally quotedWhich thread???? Sorry!
Hello, I've installed a lot of mods and a new database and everything but since I race in a league, I need to revert back to the vanilla game so I can play online. When I want to continue my career after doing my league race my saved games will be deleted so how do I make it so I can keep my saved games and make sure it isn't corrupted! Thanks!
Hi mate, merged your thread into here as its a modding questionSomeone can give me the original ai files?
I have'nt saved it.
Thanks a lot.
Ok, seeing as I just lost the long post, I'll keep this one short!!! I hope it works for you, I haven't tried myself, this is more of an educated guess at a solution.
1) Create 2 folders - offline database*, and online database.
* Or the same for any different kinds of mods!
2) Put the original game database in the online one, and the modded database in the offline one.
3) Once you have finished playing offline , you need to update the offline folder with the one that you just played with. Although you may think they are the same, you playing with it has changed it slightly....
4) Whenever you go to play (offline or online) replace the game database with the one you want to play with.

Merged your post into the thread called "Modding Questions" as it relates to questions to do with modding - hopefully you will get some answers hereHi all
I was after some help with modding and wondered if anyone knew the answer.
I'll explain what I am doing
I have been messing around with the dynamic environment settings in the database trying to change how weather works in game. I was annoyed with how on the 50% races I do that you only ever really get 1 change in weather. I have now managed to get it to my liking. There can now be light showers and heavy rain that can last a very short amount of time, this is giving some really exciting races and more difficult tyre choices throughout the race. I then moved on to change the amount of time it takes for track to soak as IRL it seems as soon as it begins to rain there is rush to get on to inters but in the game you can happily lap for 5 laps before starting to lose grip. I have now changed this as well and now when it begins to rain you have around two laps to pit before your sliding everywhere in normal rain and heavy rain its all about making it back in one piece. The local weather also works well as you can have a few corners that are soaking wet but the rest is dry. It also means if it rains lightly for say 5 mins you can remain on dry tyres if you wish but tyre temps drop off. The only slight issue I am left with is the ai remain on dry tyres for bit too long. Is there a file or script anyone knows of which controls how long ai wait before changing to different tyres?
Thanks
thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanksHad the same problem...really annoying.
Simple solution though:
Go to F1 2012\cars\fe2\ (or me2, mc2...doesn't really matter) and copy the cameras.xml file.
Paste it into F1 2012\cars\rb2\
*poof* camera motion is gone
I am not aware of that.I am not sure, but i think this mod was on rd, too, but it was just some things in the db changed, so it would not affect the performance of the cars (it has to be done in the files in the car datas)
