Michael Schumacher

A cerebral hemorrhage can be seriously dangerous. But it isn't anything that you must go through operations or anything like that on.

I smashed my head, without a helmet (stupid me) into a brick wall in 40 ish km/h years ago, and suffered from a cerebral hemorrhage and a fractured skull. The fact that I had an open hole in my skull meant that I didn't have to operate, or make a hole in my head for the pressure to go down. After a time struggling to speak, I slowly picked it up, and was back racing again after 9 months.

Yes, it can be extremely dangerous, but it might also be a thing that is "easy" to fix. It doesn't have to end bad.

If he is put in a medical coma, that is, a thing they usually do after such an incident, to allow the brain to heal quicker. That does not equal "very close to death".

Just trying to see at the more positive outcomes.

F1 Doc Explain the coma

It's quite well known that extradural hematomas, a kind of cerebral hemorrhage, can leave a lucid interval after injury

Then as the hematoma forms, the sudden increase in pressure causes sudden and dramatic symptoms. Pressure must be relieved rapidly.

This is done with a neurosurgical intervention. Then the victim is observed in an ICU environment

I'm going nuts here with all those different unclear information. I just really hope he gets well soon. I think Martin Brundle put it best in his latest tweet:
"Come on Michael, give us one of those race stints at pure qualifying pace to win through, like you used to. You can do it."

Couldn't have said it any better.

Kinda feel strange saying this but reading that almost brought me to tears. So beautifully put.

Hope that he pulls through.

Damnit...

Just read
Schumacher has probably dysfunctions/malfunctions

These information could be wrong, i hope that. But we cant be sure what is true and whats false

A bleeding in the brain, usually means that there will be some sort of nerve damage, however, that might just be a temporary thing, like mine was. I'm 99.8% fit today, just struggling with speach sometimes ;)
