rFactor 2 Racing Club event
I've been fascinated by this all week and practicing too, what a car and track combo! I didn't register or race tonight, I was committed to the R3E event at Portimao which I had technical difficulties with and couldn't compete, typical eh?

Historic racing is what gets me the most so hoping to join in and these times suit perfectly :) These things felt like so much fun to drive, I had never tried them before. The brakes are not very good :roflmao:

@Denis Betty In future, may I ask is it ok for me to request a practice server password to see how I get on before a commitment to race? I'm still very conscious of being too slow and getting in the way. I was making too many mistakes in the T280 and riding around suffering rF2s painful flat spot model but I think with practice I could be worthy of a place here..

Hi and thanks for the kind words about the combo.

We are a very inclusive bunch at RD and the rF2 guys are very much on board with that sentiment.
There is no minimum skill level required. We have a variety of skill levels racing with us and you'd be most welcome.

You're a Premium member at RD so I can let you have the server password no problem. The guys will help out with tips, setups and the like so no need to feel like you have to work things out on your own. You won't be too slow to race and racing with people quicker than yourself is the best way to improve your racing skills. But if you'd like to hang out and practice with us for a while before committing to any races that's also fine. :)
I'll add you to the password Message thread. The PW is in the opening post.

Look forward to seeing you on track and possibly chatting on Discord voice chat.

One of the most important things in Club racing:

Just race, speed does not matter, it's the fastest way to learn. And even if you should be in the way one or two times. Nobody will be angry at you!

Back in the days it needed me a year racing here to not get lapped in a race....just as a side note..
