We encourage all of our drivers to use Teamspeak 3 (download). Talking directly to your increases the fun and the ability to share information in an easy way. It will improve your driving skills dramatically.

When you have signed up we expect you to be there. If for any reason you can not make it you can sign out up until 1 hour prior to the practice session, otherwise you will be reported as a no-show.

You can not sign up as a 'maybe', you are there or you are not. We will not reserve grid places for people that might be there, we give them to people that will be there.

As soon as qualification starts and not all places are taken, reserves can enter the server.

Friday night is Kart night.....i will be leaving the server open at other times in a attempt to find some racers

I Will be be doing some practice starts again on the server ... but we can all do it ourselves quite easily

During a rolling start, you speed must be kept between 20 and 60 km/h.
Approaching start line, you have to stay inside the corridors, with a speed between 30 and 50 km/h. One second penalty is given for each km/h above of below speed limits. After yellow line it is possible to accelerate, but still in the corridor. There is a penalty of 3 seconds for partly crossing a corridor line, and 10 seconds for fully crossing it.
Last but not least, there is a 10 seconds penalty for overtaking before the start line.

Note:
You can practice offline creating a race ( from main menu: race -> host local ) and then from "Event Info" page click on the arrow button on the right of "Final Length" to jump directly to race session.

my problem used to be whilst driving round you can go upto 60 km/h but in the corridor you have to be below 50 km/h i was to fast when entering corridor now 45 km/h

I myself think we should keep rolling start but i will look at all options..
i have done about 20 starts this morning and found no problems ..OK i was on my own ... but i intentionally made mistakes and i was penalised ... if i pushed it i usually got a speeding fine but if a kept it simple and easy and only give it gas when i was past the yellow line all was OK.....;)

Thanks Rupe. If If you can see where the error was would be cool to know for next time.
:)
and no need to be sorry m8. We are helping to make this a great sim as our feed back helps.
I think?

It's very possible that you didn't make any mistake. I had situations where i kept 45 in corridors and started acceleration after my back wheels drove over yellow line and i still got time penalty. But it usually happened when people on servers had 400ms ping.
In my opinion it was server glitch. If you remember we started final on exactly same position as qual results. If server was functioning correctly we should start final according to finishing positions from pre-final. Only difference we can make next time is complete server reset after test start. But i fear it would be only irritating. But that way Rupe could set server only for practice with sighting lap turned off. Then practice start, server restart, 5 minutes to gather and finally qual and races. But well it may not make any difference.
