Indeed it is. And you yourself contributed some nicely thought out and reasoned discussion early on in it. And then felt compelled for some reason to join in belittling people who had a different opinion than you. Voicing my objection to that doesn't make me childish troll, it just means that I don't have great tolerance for that kind of behaviour on a forum which is meant to be about people sharing a common interest. However, please feel free to report my trolling and abusive posts to the mods. And this thread is very much about the comparisons of DR and RBR in case you hadn't noticed.

I've done my best to explain my viewpoint and apologised to you, and instead of some kind of de-escalation I've have been branded a troll and an aggressor and condescended to for my efforts.Wow, some cry babies here. Carry on. An influx of arcade ex console racers on here is bound to sway opinion a little these days.
Every post ends the same way. Pcars vs AC, rbr vs every rally game, gsce vs other ffb...This forums everyday looks more like a school.
Hey I didn't play Dirt Rally for a few months, do you still need custom FFB files to have better feedback or did they fix it now?
Thanks for the info, sad to hear that
TemplarGFX did an awesome job with his great mod Impact: http://www.racedepartment.com/threads/impact-force-feedback.107811, and with earlier releases of DR it really livened the FFB feel. As Mikaela said, the latest DR FFB is now pretty informative by default. I now find that Impact makes things a little too lively and my G27 too rattly, but that's just a personal preference. Try both and see how it feels.Hey I didn't play Dirt Rally for a few months, do you still need custom FFB files to have better feedback or did they fix it now?

A couple of noteworthy things in there, coming for the future.
Not a word about FFB or Physics improvements so I'm beginning to doubt we will see a true succesor to RBR
This must be about physics?
"Perhaps the most exciting thing about them is that they are being made using our latest vehicle tech. We’ve been working on this stuff in the background for a while now but these will be our first rally cars that will have the full suite of improvements. The plan is to layer these improvements into all the rally cars that have already been released. More on these updates to come but suffice to say it is going to be a significant step forward once we get these into the game."
