What ever i do, it refuses to downshift normally or is it restricted to only downshift under 3000 rpm?

Brands Hatch looks lovely!

Bram, there are a bunch of threads in the iRacing Jetta forums. It is a strange car, because the transmission keeps you from shifting until the RPM's are correct. Jetta drivers are used to it, but anyone else gets very confused at first. I tried the Jetta for an hour or so and never quite got used to it, but it was apparent I would have if I'd stuck with it, but there are too many other cars I wanted to drive, so I just haven't spent the time with the Jetta.

The transmission is accurate though. Even the weird 8th gear. :)

What is the easiest and fastest way to gain License? Im currently C road. Oval rookie :) i dont touch ovals :)

Qualy corners count 50% as much as Official Races.
Time Trial corners count 33% as much as Official Races.
UnOfficial race corners count 33% as much as Official Races.
Practice and Test corners don't count at all.

Basically clean race corners are worth the most to your SR. If increasing you Safety Rating is your only goal, then just focus on staying clean. Start the race from the pits and watch your mirrors and especially F3. When you see cars catching up. Pull over way early. Let them by and continue on until the next batch of cars gets close. Rinse and repeat. Finishing 2 laps off pace is fine if you have zero incidents. That's the quickest way to improve SR.

What benefits are you looking for by hosting on your own server?

The big one everyone wanted was to be able to boot people. It's not needed so much for password protected sessions, but many want to run public sessions and then boot the bad guys. That should be coming in the next update in 3 weeks.

The other big one would be multi-car/multi-class races. We've been waiting for that on the Official arrive and drive side for a while now too. Hopefully, we'll see that too.
