I never intended to imply that any RD members were fanboys of iRacing. I realise we have a generally higher IQ level around this site than at some others and that people here must have their reasons for liking the game.

I have suffered several personal attacks at the hands of iRacing players on other forums because I dared to criticise the FF in the game and describing their responses as 'rabid' is fair and is showing remarkable restraint on my part.

I followed all the setup guides for iRacing's FF with a G25 and it felt nothing like a real race car - I'll stand by that statement. I tried both rookie cars as people assured me the power steering on the pontiac could be the problem. I chose a track I know quite well (Laguna Seca) and ran over a hundred laps before coming to my decision but the only responses I got at iRacing were from those assuring me that I just don't have a clue and that if I paid more money and got to higher 'levels' I'd enjoy it more.

I gave up MMOs and their grind mentality a long time ago. iRacing's financial and advancement model is reminiscent of those.

Have fun with the game guys, but I can't see me ever accepting the physics and FF there as being playable.

I can't know for sure if you gave iRacing a chance for longer than a few minutes or for 20 hours.... Or if you ever intended to give it a chance in the first place, but since you didn't even bother to race a single race given they start every hour, it sure sounds like you didn't give it a chance. Anyway, iRacing is about to have it's largest growth month since launch, so whether you subscribe or not, isn't going to determine iRacing's fate. I'd recommend you get past the Solstice with Power Steering to really experience iRacing at it's finest, but I won't lose sleep if you do or don't.

Personally, I've raced LFS,GTR2, rFactor, Netkar Pro, Forza's and GT Prologue. iRacing has the best connection to the road and FFB I've ever experienced. It's very difficult for me to go back to the other sims for longer than an hour or two.

Zero races for a reason - as stated above, I hated the handling and the physics and the force feedback.

One hardly pays for a month to try something and gives up after 'a few minutes', unless of course one has the attention span of a gnat, the IQ of a herring and a maturity level that isn't out of short pants yet.

Completely pointless entering a race with others on the track when I hated the game with an empty track...

I hated LFS too, the first time I drove the demo, but I gave it try and I got addicted to it. With iRacing I also had a strange feeling the first minutes with the Legends car, this car has a short wheelbase and drives like no other car. B ut once I got used to it I started to love it.

Hi;
ok this is my 1st post and it sounds kinda weird so let me explain this ,i will give my lfs s2 account for 1 month in iracing , why?:
i live in algeria and there is no way to get iracing there
besisdes iam fedup with lfs been playing this sim for 5 years and i just wanna try something else
so if some one is interested i will make the 1st move by sending my lfs account information.

I know but in algeria we don't have credit cards or paypal so its impossible besides an algerian paypal account can only send money he can't receive and as there is no credit cards in our bank i can't put money in paypal, so the only way is some 1 open a paypal accout for me put money in; then make a subscription to iracing with that account that's why i offer my lfs account for exchange
