:) heya, some of you know me some don't. I'm from Poland the north-west part of it. I started my adventure with sim-racing with arcade game Race Driver 2 where I met some of the current champions, and best sim-racers I've ever met. For some reasons I couldn't becaome one because I prefered cutting grass and enjoy the great views on tracks, where I should focus on racing. I had a break with racing and now I decided t try it once again. So Hope to see you on track in RACE 07 Cheers Maciek

Andreas Löffler

Hello Racing Club members,

i want to introduce myself. My name is Andreas, 23 years old and i´m from Germany :champ:hope we get the cup EM08.
Since i play computergames, i´m a big fan of racinggames. There was Need for Speed SE, Grand prix 2-4, STCC 2, Collin MCRae Rally Serie :rally_drive: and then GTR and WTCC too. For me a new Feeling in Racing Simulation. And you know, now i needed a steeringwheel:character00182:, wow what a game :alla:
But the biggest fun i found i found here on RaceDepartment with the WTCC League (Current on P17) I drive on :bmw: and since Istanbul G3 over Valencia G2 and Zandvoort G2 i´m in G1 in Brno and now Estoril :banana023:yuhuu.
Its the first season for me and i hope i´m the best german at the end :racecar:
In real live i drive an OPEL an i want to try the vauxhall for Race 07 and the event today is perfect to to that. for that i have to join Racing Club, and here I am.
Hope we have a good time on some events and i will see where it ends with my "race career".
For the future i would lik to join a racing team in GTR 2 or Race 07. Likely with a german driver in the team (for teamspeak) but is no condition.

Any suggestions or questions, then post it.

Greetings and see you on track
:f1:
Andreas

My introduction

Hi all,

Just like to say a few words to introduce myself.

My name is Grant Powell im 33 years old (getting on a bit LOL ;)) im married with 2 children who are boys aged 5 & 2 and the Mrs. is pregnant with our third due in December :D

I live in a small place called Oxted, Surrey which is in the U.K but originally come from another small place called Northolt, Middlesex also U.K which was not to far form Heathrow airport so I think everyone would have heard of that LOL.

In my spare time I enjoy watching movies and motor sport especially Formula One and Moto GP and all aspects of computing and time with my family which is my greatest achievement & I feel honored to be a father :D and thank my wife for this (gushy I know but hey just being honest)

I have been playing racing games for a long time with games likes Geoff Crammond’s Grand Prix, Gran Turismo 1,2 &3 and Frorza Motorsport, just listing the memorable ones.

I have only just recently (6 months) built a PC that is up to spec to play PC racing games so I have listed my experience as beginner, after trying GTR 2 and thinking what an awesome game I thought I need to check out Simbin’s Race 07 as it was at the local store for £15 my first impressions was it was a bit arcadey but after playing for a while I found it can be quite unforgiving with the damage sensitivity at 100% and now im quite enjoying this title.

I also have rfactor which I had never heard of until I was reading about another game on some forum and somebody mentioned it so I thought I would take a look and love that you can add extra stuff although I still think the graphics are rather poor but the it plays well so it is not to much of a distraction.

Well I have rambled on enough that is me and I hope to catch you all on the racetrack very soon, I may not be the quickest but im fair and will only drive within my limits and believe taking part is the important thing :thumb:

Hello guys!
For those who don't know me - my nickname is hudy, I'm 20 and live in Poland. My racing experience started in Race Driver 2 where I met Bram (Stiggy :D), Maciek (szefo) and the rest of great guys from Roaring Pipes Maniacs and started to race with them under the RPM tag. After that we moved to Race and then Race 07. In the meantime I started studying electronics and telecommunication on the university and left RPM badge due to lack of time for racing. Now I'm back for holidays, with hopes to have good old racing fun again! :D

Aye Mates!
Im Szilard Szabó from Hungary. Budapest. Feel to free call me to "Sziszka" thats my "official" nickname :)
my first comp was C64, and i really loved Pit Stop II :) my favorites was F1GP series and GTR offline.
My online carrier started last year with the 'Hungarian GTR2 Masters' championship, proud to say, they are one of the worlds finest ;)
i tried GTL and recognized: "THATS MY GAME" since i concentrate on that.
when i fed up with searching the sec's on track i used to Hackandslash with Savage (small advertise) the best Multiplayer online game ever i tried (involviong CS aswell) so just give it a try if u want to...

Dietmar Auferkorte

Hi all,

I still owe you a quick intro of myself, as I recently joined the racing club to participate on this Saturdays event.

As my profile says, am a 38 year old German living in Frankfurt. So far no kids & no wife. My girlfriend lives currently at the other end of the world, therefore I have more time for racing than expected. But compared with what I saw here, I am pretty fresh (only 1 year experience), especially as my job does not allow regular trainings (okok, I also still do have a real life :) ).

This Saturdays event will be my first race, so far was only online few times on a server with little traffic and those who reached the finish were SIGNIFICANTLY faster (but I keep mentioning the other ones, that did not reach the finish :))!

Looking forward to nice and friendly races and I hope I will not be to much of a stopper for the rest!

Have fun!

Hi there,

I am 17 years old folk from Slovakia, really interested in WTCC and couple of other racing series. I am playing LFS two years already, so don't worry, i'll try my best to clean racing with you. Of course I am not the fastest, so forgive my slow times. I just already have some online racing experience, which could me help here. I've bought Race 07 and GTR2 too, but i prefer LFS. It's world's best and the only one simulator imo. :) Simbin games are for relax to me, as its funny to play on Robert Huff for example. Now i am proud to be a member here, as i except i will find some people similar to my low skill and we will have nice racing together.

Cya on the track :amen:

  • petestenning

I am Peter Stenning 57, an old git lol, i live with my disabled Mum , single.

I have raced GPL which was very difficult for a new sim racer at the time and i have not improved with age.

I have also race GTR/GTR2 and still race GTL/rFactor/Race07, in fact i run GBSimracing leagues with a bunch of fine drivers. All free from the normal open server mayhem well most of the time , lol.

I was brought up around bike racing as my uncle was a TT rider with Manx Norton, and AJS 7R , before he turned to sidecars with better success.
I am a former class champion in regional sprints some 10 years ago or more now with a Ginetta G15.

In the 70'S i was race mechanic with a group 2 Chevrolet Camaro Z28. Laterly i have spent over 30 years as a race official only retiring last year but i still go to historic meetings as my passion is the Lola T70 MK3B.

Pete
