Introduction
img06.jpg

Flash Racing was founded at the end of 2007 by Matt Davis and Christophe Burton. The teamname follows shortly, Flash Racing. Us goal is to create a racing team for people who will race competivly in a friendly, respectful manner. Flash racing doesn't the fastest team but we make a lot of fun but we try always to win all the contest in a fair race. As independant team we try also for concurrenting with the fastly 'factory' drivers like Roaring Pipes Maniacs, Team Work in Progress, The Black Rebels and others.
We started out in RACE 07 - The Offical WTCC Game. Us scout looked in December of 2007 for a new driver, we founded Evy Weygers. Evy is a very good driver for the team, she is a natural talent of speed and can put us team in the highest place of the results table. Flash Racing started competional in 2008. We missed a part of the RSC Mini League in 2007 but we are ready for ride in the RSC Offical World Touring Car Championship.

Well good place to start is by saying hello so .. Hello everybody.
Im here from RSC, whilst the forum is down. I like taking part in there Freinly Develpment Series. Mainly because I just getting my feet wet with setting my cars and racing sims as a whole.

I also like skinning Some of you may have seen some of my work over at RSC and if not. I am planing on showing off some of my work here.

I hope to hear from you all at some time or another...

My intro

Hello everybody,

My name is Gareth Hickling (Duh) I come from Loughborugh in England (near nottingham) and ive had this little addiction for a few years now and I just cant break it.
At first it started with TRD2 and a little race here and there with my joypad, from there on it got ahold of me, I needed more more more!
I finally gave into my addiction and purchased a MOMO wheel, then the games started coming thick and fast, Simming was taking over my life!

A couple of years ago i decided to stop gaming as much as my daughter was born and I wanted to dedicate myself to my family more, I was still racing here and there but no leagues and such.
As ive been getting back into over the last six or so months I noticed that RSC had started a racing club, perfect! I jumped in there and never looked back,
Since RSC went down I have been milling around other forums like nogrip until I found this place, I honestly thought this was just a small team forum but it has lots of quality information here, Great stuff!
Thanks to everybody involved in giving me so much pleasure again.

I hope to see you out on track, either in a league or just racing for fun because if RSC RC is anything to go by, All of you will drive like true gentlemen,

Cya trackside!
Gareth

Gareth, RPM is where the RSC Racing Club was born.
Great to see you here also, and thanks for the nice intro. Welcome.

A big welcome Gareth :)
as Warren said, this it the place where Racing club was born. And also where most of the racing directors came from

enjoy your stay here....as I see you were a bit busy here already (with the arcade:tongue:)
Thanks, :) yea I just love that game :)

Hi my name is Rui Rodrigues and im 37. Currently living in Portugal but originally from South Africa. been in Simracing for quite a few years. Doing quite a bit of GT legends now and Race07. Unfortunately have only raced with keyboard (yes i know it is a big no no in simracing if you want to be fast) but do to being in a wheelchair pedals would be a bit useless:laughing:. although those who know me from GT legends can attest that im not slow....competed in Comet series against the like of Roland Ehnstrom and Kristoff huyck to name a few. oh and im "only a couple of seconds" off Atti times in Race07 on most circuits. Just want to say that it is with a lot of pleasure to be able to join you guys here and im sure good clean competitive fun is always the name of the game.

Hey Rui, welcome here at RPM! :)

Have you thought of buying a Joystick? I race with a Joystick, and you have many more possibilities (careful acceleration/braking, better turning). I came 3rd in the RSC Mini League, so it's no barrier to go fast.

I have bought a Gamepad (been meaning to do it for ages and only now got off my lazy backside) ....i was able to get one with progressive buttons for accel and braking. i must give the joystick a try as well.

Well, I suppose I should introduce myself as well here. I have been a member of RSC since November of last year. Have been into online racing for probably just over a year, though not real seriously, and have endured many large changes in my life which at this time has allowed me ample time to do things.

I am a professional truck driver by trade, having driven rigs for almost 20 years, with a short 10 year stint as a computer technician and part owner of a computer store. Currently I am on the temporarily disabled list, and have been for just over a year now, but am still hopeful that the docs will be able to figure out what is wrong and get me back into making some money.

With all the free time I have had on my hands, I have joined the Race club and enjoyed the start of the mini series, but dropped out due to time constraints as I started hunting as well, so had some conflicts. I also started doing skins for Race 07, primarily for the FBMW's which appeared to be in need of some love from skinners, and have a total of about 13 different skins posted for them. I have also skinned a few other misc cars, but find myself back to the FBMW's when I want to get really creative.

Once I get past the hunting seasons that I plan on participating in, then I will be devoting more time to practicing and racing with everyone at RSC, and now possibly with everyone here that doesn't race with RSC. :)

Looking forward to hearing from y'all in the future.
Jim Cole
