Hi there!

Bram told me to check this place out so here I am. There are a lot of forums to keep track of but I think I can manged one more :loco:

A short story about my self.

Online:
I have just begun with simracing so I need to practice! If you see me on the track be gentle :-P I try to keep my patience on a nice level and treat everybody as nice as they treat me

I have tryed GTR2 a few times but didnt have a wheel so I gave up that. Then about a month ago I got Race07 demo. I was hooked at once :).

Started with mouse and keys, did pretty good I think, like 1:35.5 at Brand Hatch without aids. Then I bought a wheel, G25, and its was a bit diffrent at the start but then I got the hang of it, but I didnt do much better time anyway :-P, 1:34.822.

Now my goal is to learn all the new tracks in the game, and then try to make some nice times. If I got some time left I will build me a cockpit :) (there goes girlfriend and dog :-P)

IRL:
Member of Swedish VW GTi Club that arranges meetings and trackdays all around in Sweden. I have a Golf GTI -89 that I have driven with on those trackdays. No competion, we do it just for fun, and we are not allwoed either :-P
When I`m not here by the computer, I could be in the garage trying to make my golf go faster ;-) or just looking things over. If there is any time left :-P I spend it with my girlfriend and our dog :)

This summer it has not been any trackdays for me. The golf has collected dust in the garage instead. So this with simracing is the perfect thing to do so I still know where the throttle is on the golf next year ;-)

Thats all folks. Over and Out!

Hello everyone,

I just started with simracing, because some collegue of my started telling about it, Marcel Hulsbergen thanks man. It is great fun to drive although I don't have a lot of time. But every now and then I drive a few laps with GTR2 or Race 2007.

Anyway, Marcel sent me a link to the home made cockpit of Roy, which I think is really great. But to see it a had to register, so that's how I ended up writing this message.

Greetings,
Martin

Um.. Hello every one!
I came here looking for some good servers for Race 07! ( i mean ones where there isnt someone crashing into me every lap)

I only have a joystick, but well its better than a keyboard at least.

Hey all,
Another newbie here.
I've been playing Race(06) since it came out although I never ventured into the big wide world of online racing. Basically I didn't think I was good enough.
Last night I had a go on a public (no password) race and had a blast. Qualified 2nd and finished 3rd (out of 5 mind!).

I'm a fairly clean driver. Of course we all have the odd bump but nothing deliberate. I will always hold my hand up and appologies if I cause an accident. Hard but fair is what I try to be.

I'm using a Saitek gamepad at the moment. Looking to get a wheel after christmas. I'm thinking Logitech Momo wheel. Any other suggestions? Not too expensive though! Under £100.

I look forward to racing you all.

Hello gents!!

Thought I'd drop in here to say hi... so... "hi"!

Lots of familiar faces/names in here but I'll introduce myself nonetheles:

My name is Theo, I'm 36 yrs and I have been simracing for a long time now. Like so many others, for me it also started with Geoff Crammonds GP series way back in the previous millenium. Of course I also did other racing games like "pole position", Lotus Challenge", "Night driver" (who remembers that LOL) etc. before that, but I consider GP to be my first sim.

Lost track of the racing sims for a while but regained interest through GTR and have been racing since than. I am not very good but I do have fun and that's what matters to me!

I enjoy racing in the RSC Racing club at the moment and I have signed up for my first league as well (the mini league).

Cheers all!
Theo
