2 nights... this just is not installing. I have done this before with the 1.3.7 boot file cars.
I have followed the steps to the letter. it no longer crashes after verifying the files again through steam. updated the .lst, updated the drive file. installed them through JSGME... comes up but the cars are just not in the list.

tried also adding the lamborghini. that wont come up either....

problem with the boot files? not sure where to look now.

Overall, amazing mod!!! Anyone else experiencing reduced fps when other cars are going into the pits? Especially during full course yellows. Other than that, everything has been amazing!

I reported this 1 star review. If you have problems installing a mod (though there's a readme file with steps how to do it) please come to the discussion thread and start asking. I'm sure here are plenty of people who can help. It's a shame that people give bad reviews just because they're too lazy to follow some steps.

If you are not able or don't want to follow the steps provided in order to install this mod then please come to the discussion thread and start asking and don't give a bad review because of your incompetence.

Just a thought that may help those who are suffering with no liveries... It could be because of an extra line added to the vehiclelist.lst...

The read me is as follows...
add the followig line to the vehiclelist.lst:

Maybe I will delete everything I downloaded and remove all the boot files. Make sure it runs, then download everything again, and follow from scratch. This has worked fine for me in the past...

Don't know if this is the right place to report a bug but have noticed an issue with the mod:

When 'Visual Damage Only' is enabled and the car gets damage for example the front wing is knocked off, it lands on track and is visible to other players, but on your car the front wing is still attached so it looks as if you have no damage when you are driving the car from the player pov.

That's really strange. Do you know if this happens to the other Formulas in-game? I haven't had a good chance to sit down and play for a while.

All the cars there are, both the Lamborghini and the Indycar, work correctly.
You just have to put the correct Botfiles. Bootfiles 1.4.6.1 (web)

luijo updated DALLARA IR18 2023 MOD (Road Version) with a new update entry:

AMS Updated to v1.4.6.4

We've got a new update for Automobilista 2 (1.4.6.4). The mod still works OK, just make sure you download the new Bootfiles and update the required files. A bit of an annoyance but nothing more than 5-10 mins of work.

We also got the feedback and we'll look at the gear ratios and torque curve on low RPMs.

Thanks for the nice reception the mod has received! Hopefully this will steer more modders to try AMS2. It has certainly motivated me! Here's a sneak peek of the next update...

My feedback: AI very easily flip over other AI cars by hitting slightly from behind, even with low aggression. Maybe try making the car harder to flip if possible?

BTW thanks, this reignited my interest in AMS2.
