AC GT4 @ Chang - Sunday 30th April 2023

Assetto Corsa Racing Club event
Apologies to Jason for the bump on lap one. Lucky we both stayed on track.

Also apologies to Colin for not waiting after the crunch on lap two. I though I was hit from behind, when in fact the replay shows I cut across Colin. It would have been fine if my car had not reacted to the curbing. We where three wide in the corner and that is never going have a good ending. After these incidents it was fun catching up.

Thanks for organizing Brian and well done to the winners.

This was one of the most fun an intense races recently having to go for qualy lap and each tenth every lap as Robert @Alfred Wayne and me had the same pace. Was leading about 2-3 seconds and we were doing same lap times. Hit the inner kerb at the fast left hander just a fraction too hard which set the car instantly to a spin. Lost about 8 seconds and then was looking to catch up to Robert. He pitted earlier and when I pitted it was so close lost it by half a second at pit exit.
He was flawless till the end so there was no chance for an overtaking. Great racing , Thx all and cu.

I thought i had nipped both of you but no such thing as a free lunch! Only intended to pass one of you guys but ended up side by side with the second ginetta ahead!

My race was done from there really. I hadn't the pace to catch anyone ahead.

Next week I'm going to setup gt3/gt4 multiclass at Spa. Hope you can all make it!

Thanks for the apology Pat.

No need to apologise Pat, I had a bad time the whole race as the Maserati didn't seem to agree with my FFB and couldn't tell what the car was doing at all, I also had a lot of shaking/vibrations through the wheel on the straights and after 30mins my hand were starting to hurt due to it so decided the leave..

Hi Folks.

We will be back with more GT4 racing on the 28th May, finishing off the rookie/freemium week at the racing club.

This Sunday is the endurance event at spa, so if you don't fancy that and still want to race @Denis Betty is running an mx5 event in rf2 that night.
