AC GT4 @ Chang - Sunday 30th April 2023

Assetto Corsa Racing Club event
Enjoyed that, thanks for organising Brian:thumbsup:

....well, enjoyed until I got kicked for not taking a pitstop, 5 laps after I had a pitstop:laugh:

(edit: I took the long entry and exit pit lanes, wondering if they were correct?)

That's a pity , looked like the podium was on for you! I can't see that you've made a pitstop on the server, John. At least it hasn't registered one. It says that you have disconnected normally too. No mention of a kick or anything. Not sure what has gone on there.

I loaded up my json file to Simresults to see if I dreamt it:laugh: ...it shows I stopped on lap 16. With a few mins to go I was teleported to pits with a big red sign saying I hadn't stopped and was disqualified. I was very hurt I may add:roflmao:
(thank f**k I hadn't put in shed loads of practice laps, then I would have been mad:p)

EDIT: Just watched replay of pit entry, two wheels comfortably inside the pit lane entry, very confused:(

Strange and bad luck John. Did you have the pitstop setup to put in, at least, the minimum requirement of 1 litre of fuel?
I did Richard, set up the pitstop window for 1 ltr added. You were driving so well/consistently there's no way I could have got a clean pass without slowing us both down, so tried the undercut early, which I thought had worked... imagine my horror:laugh:

On the bright side I beat my pb in the Mazzer by .5sec - such a fun car to drive:inlove:

@Medilloni

I know I faff like an old git, looked at your stop in the pits, it was certainly very quick, 3 times quicker than my stop. probably means sod all, but I wonder if you left without giving time to actually get the fuel in. You will need to look at your pit stop, and check if 1 ltr of fuel actually went into your tank, I cannot do that in my reply???

i took the long entry and exit for the pit and had no trouble with that registering. in fact, i did it twice because i miscalculated the fuel (again)! i really need to install that fuel tracking app.

you probably didn't park in the pit just right, or didnt give it enough time. as @Alfred Wayne once pointed out, if you have successfully completed your pit, then the pit timer at top of screen will no longer be displayed if i am remembering this correctly.

Now that's a good point Ernie, will have a look later today:thumbsup: ...although the little image came up showing the fuel going in, but you're right it was fast:unsure:
