A message to all Drivers

If you run off track, you must check to see that its clear before you re enter the track. Always try to re-enter the track parallel to the racing line. Stay off the racing line until you are up to race speed and do not block any fast approaching car.

When joining the track from the pits, remain inside the white line and stay off the racing line until you are up to speed.

During qualification, do not race on your out lap, let other drivers by.

Golden Rule
  1. If you hit somebody, sending them off the track and carry on like nothing happened, you take the risk of being banned for 30 days.
  2. Instead, you should always wait for the affected drivers, and that way you can be 100% sure you will not get a ban.
Track limits
  1. No more than 2 wheels over the white/yellow line without a lift of the gas please.
You will be penalized if you break our rules
Note: Please use your full real name in Discord. Not doing so may result in you being kicked from the server if an admin cannot identify you as a premium member.

Are you sure about that track choice? Seems quite suicidal.

I've only driven a few laps, but that bump got me every time, not always like that, but I'm not sure if I really would like to race on that :O_o:
Or is the Porsche the problem and other cars absorb that better?

Ha forgot about the speed bump. It's ok I think in other cars. I drove the bmw here last time, probably one of the better cars here. Myself and @Partick Eaton had a good battle here last time in the bimmers. Should be possible to get the porker to take it also, not sure tbh.

Only tried the merc out here and the bump unsettled the car a bit, but nothing like that

The main worry is not ending up in the canal, until after the chequered flag :)

First time for me at this track. Training was already fun, I like it. The bump is really annoying and adds nothing to the track. Would be great if there's a version without it. Maybe it's fun with slow cars or for fun events but GT3... :poop:

Ye it's a pity about the speed bump alright. I'll message the guy and see if he can make a second layout without for future.

Don't ask, don't get :)

I have decided to try the 911 here as a "challenge", spent a lot of time getting the setup okay, will see how long I last Sunday.
Can take the hump flat now, it is probably not much different to the average GT3.
I do not hold out much hope for the race. { think I am miles off the pace }
But the 911 challenge should compensate.

Alright quite advice for us porsche lovers today, I raised the suspension height and travel limits quite a bit, ARB full front, 0 rear. Little less rear wing and full front splitter and then you can safely grab a bit of kerb here.

Pretty much figured that I would tire and destroy the car on the kerbs during the 1hr race so went with a safe approach in the setup there.

So far with the Porsche I am on the same pace as the BMW, but the BMW is so much more forgiving, and will turn an faster average pace.
My main problem is tyres, I am as fast ( or slow :roflmao::roflmao: ) in the Porsche on mediums as the bmw on softs.
For me softs are just not an option here on the Porsche
Even mediums will not tolerate any excesses here in the Porsche, easily ready to go into the red, but are so much more forgiving than softs.
That is the problem with the Porsche, I have never been able to get around, the Porsche would be really quick here on softs if I could use them a 100% like with the bmw, but I after a few corners have to pussy foot it for the remaining lap.
The Porsche on softs would be mighty here.
How are you with the speed bump, I can take it flat as long as I am straight to the speed bump. My setup is not like yours at all. I have done many laps and had no problem with the speed bump at all, as with the bmw.
The bmw breezes the speed bump. Jumping on entry and the remains horizontal to the ground , but in the air.
The Porsche bounces up on speed bum, eventually nose diving in a very dramatic way after the speed bump.
Have spent ages getting the front and rear to be stable after this event. Which I have succeeded in doing.
Never went your route, but once you go in a setup direction, from there on you are stuck in the complexity of all those parameters. Not easy time wise to go in the reverse direction.
