Hey @Interslice Do you know what the fixed gearing and diff for the Porsche is please? The practice servers let you change them but it sounds like for the race it will be fixed. Would be helpful to practice with the diff and gearing settings  It looks like the homologation setup applies to the Corvette but not the Porsche.

Hi Dave, it's the 'nurburgring' gearset. There is nothing fixed on the porsche diff as it doesn't have diff and coast options like the corvette.

In theory the fixed setups should kick in on the practice server too, certainly once you have signed up.

Thanks! May well be because I haven't signed up yet. Will do that now...

Is the Lambo competitive?

I might be able to join somewhen, so would like to enter the practice server before.

I own the first 3 RSS cars from past events, when I used the Lambo. Is buying the whole pack in the actual Autumn sale still the best option?
I think the Evo version of the Lambo is more competitive than the old version, but I haven't actually tried it at Kyalami. I'm actually really enjoying the NSX right now.

It appears that the whole pack of 7 cars is £10.49 right now, so that's probably the cheapest option.

Let me know how it goes. Hopefully just that sign up issue.
I've registered but can still change gear sets in the Porsche during practice. Whereas the ratios in the Corvette are locked. No big deal but worth being aware of for people planning to race the Porsche - practice with the Nurburgring geat set!

In a surprise turn of events, we're now going on holiday on Saturday, so I won't be racing you all unfortunately. Which is a shame as it looks fun. Have a great race guys.

Gents,

It's that time of year.. the clock change this weekend. The server will launch an hour out for some (Guys in North America) best to just check the emporer for your local time.

Thanks Dave. I'll look into it. I should be able to get the porsche to load in automatically with some server tlc!

Enjoy the holiday!!

I finally managed to get everything running and was able to enter the server. But after a few laps I got thrown off the server. CM said "race cancelled". No replay, no leaderboard.
I tried again with the same result. Then had to go to bed, making no further tests...

Has anybody an idea?
I own an old poor PC system. Could it be the cause? Maybe running out of RAM when saving the replay? I mean there are many cars and skins on the server...

Thank you mate.

I consider updating my PC to a high level in the near future to be ready for AC Evo. This would also enable me to finally enjoy AC at its best right before ACE arrives. Hopefully questions like the above are gone then...

It could be worth trying the CSP version. I am using the latest one, top of the list. 1.79 (recommended) has been causing trouble.

Try the other cars to be sure. URD could be ok.

There is also many CSP/CM options and settings to get you going. https://www.overtake.gg/threads/setting-up-ac-for-racing-online.260667/#post-3688461

If you are still having issues let me know. We can maybe install one or two cars without CSP physics if thats a problem for peoples cpu.

Hopefully evo is not as heavy to run as ACC was! I'm pretty sury they have ditched unreal engine.
