RDFIA Interviews are back!
@tigerkart_22 second career win and first time leading the championships. For how long do you think you can keep this WDC position?
@Takuma Ishikawa stunning pace, a) for a new team and b) for having absolutely no race pace as we heard, how hard was it holding off Laad and how did you feel when Graham made a mistake?
@Jimlaad43 Bentley had good pace, but what was the reason you couldn't overtake Takuma?

@Márk Lintner DNF in the opening race is the worst, being the defending champion, was that heartbraking for the worst possible start to a new season?
@Benutzername what's wrong with the OMR? Another season you are having poor luck, something we haven't seen the first 4 seasons.
@Milos you also retired, and seemed to have a lack of pace compared to your teammate. Was the car holding you back all the time?
@airutonpurosuto8912 most reliable car, yet you still had a failure. But it isn't that bad, as you take pole for race 2, are you pleased with that and maybe able to convert it to another win/Turkish delight 2.0?
@Aidan Keranen defending champions (2KF1) didn't seem to have a lot of pace today. What went wrong?

Y no interview for me? Now I gotta make one myself:
"Tim, you drove fantastic today and were catching up a lot to Mcnamara come the end of the race, what's your view going into race 2?"

Fck off I don't want an interview:mad::D

Feels awesome to lead the championship but we still have 27 races to go. The car was awesome but had a small moment at the end. It's tough to say how long I'll keep it. Hopefully I can come out of Istanbul with the championship lead but you never know what's in store with the GPTCC. I was fastest in race 1 so hopefully I can power my way through the field and keep the likes of Lintner, Utzer and Ancevski behind

Actually, my first title started with a retirement, too.
Sadly this time its more crucial now due to the new system of the race weekend. I still think hat, what i realised in the last season, that this new system makes everythign a bit more random and there are no real good tactics anymore. A retirement in one race is beeing punished real hard.
Bad luck can happen anyone. I would like to see a series without any failures, just based on our performance, but that wont be the case ever.

cheeky self-interview :D
yes actually, the team was worried about the right rear tyre, they told me the pressure slightly dropped but said it shouldn't be a huge problem. I tried to continue but had some struggles on the acceleration. In the end the tyre just blew. But we had promising pace, my teammate could get 11th after a poor grid position. I think something is still possible assuming we don't have failures in the following races.

I have a theory looking back that you got a slow puncture after the contact with Costello.

Laad wasn't as much as a problem as the crew thought he would be. He could close the gap but I never felt truely under pressure

Graham was always going to have the pace but when he made a mistake, I tried to pounce. However I tried to remain calm as I didn't want to throw away a podium

An awesome race though for the team. I have to thank Audi for an awesome car and my team for doing such a good job. Also congrats to @Vimal Ana who dod a great job to get 4th

Race 2 will be a tougher affair but as long as we keep the car on the road, we should be fine :)

Even if my fans and the Turkish crowd never forgot my success of the last season's Istanbul race, anything might happen for the next race. I'm sort of curious if we can take the win in the second race, or get a strong result, but the "unexpection" should come.
