Hunsley wins again
Securing his 5th win this season Jack Hunsley further increased his lead in the championship. Ancevski finished 2nd, keeping the damage to a minimum. Buurlage completed the podium in 3rd.
Once again the McLarens couldn't hold on to the top positions for long, Hunsley took the lead from Foro in lap 2. While Foro remained in 3rd until his pitstop teammate Keranen struggled with a heavily fueled car. A mistake in lap 7 put him at the end of the field. Many overtakes in the opening laps, and a couple of incidents. Both Prosts spun off in lap 1 upon entering the motodrom. Utzer dropped to the end of the field after a harsh block by Kederer had sent him in a spin. Graham threw his car in the tyre wall in the penultimate corner.
Hunsley was leading ahead of Ancevski when the first round of stops began. Kederer inherited the lead, but only briefly as Buurlage soon passed him. A mistake a few laps later cost him second, before a loose wheel ended his race. Hunsley was running in second, closely followed by Ancevski. Foro had lost big time after a mistake on his outlap. Martins was running in 4th, ahead of Ishikawa and Engberink.
One stoppers went on to pit, and soon after the 2 stoppers came in for their stops. Hunsley retook the lead ahead of Ancevski, while Buurlage was running in 3rd now. Ishikawa, Engberink and Diehl followed. Martins had lost his chance for the first points of the season when his engine blew up. Final laps didn't bring many changes, Diehl could snatch 5th from Engberink, but at the front Hunsley maintained his 2s lead over Ancevski.
