Great work and thank you for the rapid release of the skin :ninja:

These are the best tires personally for me I saw,
he actually copied the layer style of the new text and applied the same settings what was inside the PSD templates, so the text looks worn, looks way more realistic than bright white text just added ontop,
maybe just personal preference but to me these are lovely. :)

But you can't see the white lettering when the car is moving, too dark IMO, they look like 40 laps old tires

Yeah such a pity the settings inside AC are so limited with tires,
I might try and make a custom shader in the future with more features,
NM dust layers and extra layers for wear,

slot1, a brand new tire, slot2 a worn tire that degrades over a number of laps, maybe be nice to ask ilja but the guy made his own settings for this shaders patch and hes really busy with other features,
maybe something I can look into myself idk,

its something kunos never paid attention to kinda like the wheel brake disc glow,
this was never added either until I made a mod with working brake disc that worked and glowed,
everyone went crazy complaining on AC forums so Stefano created the disc glow shaders and settings,

codemasters system in there F1 games currently to me is the best system available for tires anywhere in games its almost flawless,
also codemasters damage systems on the cars, codemasters pit stops and animations,
codemasters career modes and AI,
but yet this game is perceived to be arcade genre but in reality its the closest to true simulation as one gets, anyways lets not get too into this topic its annoying no one pays attention to the details,
accept arcade games. :)

If you guys want to use the bridgestones here;
https://uploadfiles.io/0audc

they are not perfect it was quick attempt
will try to get it more like this later on.
clean version imho doesn't look good

I am sure that mad genius x4fab(Ilja) will have proper shader solution so we can have best of both worlds.

Was just discussing an idea maybe 15 minutes ago we are going to try once he writes the code for it,
apply a mask so the tires are brand new and over say idk 10-25-20 laps the mask starts covering the text so it appears worn and old,
seems to be the best solution so far we think to test anyways, ill wait to see what he does with the textures, I can always bake a nice wear mask in PBR,
recently been playing around with these skid marks and marbles also be nice to see them finished. :)

OK done.
P.S. FYI, after clicking the 'submit' button on your contact us form, not much happens (a horizontal line in the captch box sweeps across and it says captcha correct) but the original editable message boxes remain, there is no visible confirmation that the message has been submitted/sent.
So if you get a message twice that'll be why. And If you don't get is at all, well that'll be why too.

I wanted to write exactly the same. :)
I thought I was incompetent. :D

Love the mod and these skins are looking fantastic. I know it’s a lot to expect of the skinning community but it would be awesome if eventually we have skins for the 1998-2003 seasons as they would all work with this car, so many possibilities.

Thanks for the feedback, will try to get it better :)

Edit: I've already added a new contact form plugin, this one is a bit more user friendly :p

Edit2: Please contact us again, I think the old one was broken or something, as I didn't get any contact message. New one seems to work fine.

Thanks for responding, I'm glad what I intended as constructive feedback was taken as such and not mis-interpretted as moaning..
I've sent a message with the new contact form, after the first 'submit' I got an error (something like "message not sent; please try again, later") but on the second (immediate) try it worked with a success confirmation.
Cheers.
