I'm pretty sure changing the channel numbers doesn't work. I tried when I had issue before, just a limitation of the older game engines. There was no way round it that I found
 
the white lines in the middle of the road, look over there, they are blurred (i dont know if it is the right word, i have used google translator)
 
does renaming that file affect the graphics in anyway? Because I have everything maxed out and the AA even though set at 8 I can see jaggies?
Override the Anti Aliasing Settings in your nvidia control panel, I did so to 16X Super Sampling - you could go even higher with nhancer some sort of 32X combined with multi and super sampling hybrid.
gmotor games have the bug that you won't get the highest level on that just the one beyond.
 
Thanks mate, I'm going to try it out tonight. I personally think the game looks like a cardboard cut out, but with your suggestion and I have just seen that there is a mod already hopefully the game will have some decent textures and AA.

I take it the game is not DX11?
