AC Ford Transit @ Nurburgring GP (GT) - Wednesday 12th August 2020

Assetto Corsa Racing Club event
I'm going to have to bail I'm afraid John, we had an offer accepted on a new house last week and since then it's been manic sorting everything out and trying to get the existing house ship shape. Our study is also currently over 30c so I'm not sure I could survive sitting in there for 90 minutes with a vr headset on anyway!

Had a short practice yesterday. I can't help feeling that I'm looking at a replay in slow motion. :p
But with temperatures above 30 in my study/gameroom it's nice to have enough time to relax at the straights.

Great choice, John!

Btw: I think this car is also a good candidate for an event on the Luccaring.

Lol, yes Han, I think the heat will get to us all, though I picked up a few tips for staying cool when I used to play with my organ:whistling:

I'm loving heel and toeing this thing....is that how white van men drive these things so fast?
Heel and toeing in a Transit! Love-it.
My H-Pattern shifter arrived today, so if I can get it set up on time this will be a great intro to using a shifter in sim racing... but I can't see myself doing any heel & toeing just yet!

Thanks for this event, I managed to join the first bit. There was hope on some corners initially, then all I saw was a lot of Ford Transits slipping away from me until there were none of them left on the horizon. It was just me and the 70 litres of fuel I had on the board.
