Our good friend Craig put this on 2 yrs ago, everyone had a blast!... so we're going for round 2 this Weds for 2 x 8 lap fun races, join us! 
Craig summed up this event perfectly, when he said:

Guys, kisses and love taps will happen for sure, but the "Golden rule" will remain in place for this event. If you collide with another driver, that causes him to go off the black stuff, you must slow down and wait for him to pass you ...please do NOT slow down on the "racing line" ..move of it, or you could well be the cause of another incident."
Welcome to the Assetto Corsa racing club! This is the place to be for relaxed, friendly racing and our events are open to everybody from rookies to the seasoned pros. Track: Nurburgring GP-GT OSRW (36 grid slots) Download - PLEASE NOTE, this has been changed since original thread - practice will stay with std version, race will be extended pit-box version.
Pit stop: Not Mandatory, unless you've a delivery to make :-P
Track Temps: 29c
Track Condition: Clear, with shadows from that van hogging the fast lane.
Tailgating: Allowed, you'll need the slipstream

Qualifying: 19:20 UTC / 20:20 BST (20 minutes)
Race 1: 19:40 UTC / 20:40 BST (8 LAPS)

Race 2: 20:05 UTC / 21:08 BST (8 LAPS) - Reverse Grid Top Five
PLEASE NOTE: Times after the first race might be out by a minute or so, due to this being 2 x 8 lap races (not based on time).
