The in car-tachometer is correct, but the HUD and my wheel think it's at max revs all the time. Any ideas?

hmm, ok that makes sense.Read previous pages.
If it's a big issue, you can unpack the data and edit engine.ini's line LIMITER to for example 7000. Probably that's what I will do as well for the next update.hmm, ok that makes sense.
That worked, thanks mate. Got a patreon or anything? If it's a big issue, you can unpack the data and edit engine.ini's line LIMITER to for example 7000. Probably that's what I will do as well for the next update.
Oh and back up the original data after and rename it so it doesn't override the data folder's priority.
No, but there is a link to Daniel's paypal in the OP.That worked, thanks mate. Got a patreon or anything?
Any progress on the Spec Ford Racer crashing AC? I'm having the same problem.Still investigating this bug, It is random and happens to some people, but not yo others. If any.other modder has info about this one issue, please let us know.
Do you perhaps not have CSP installed? The physics require at least 0.1.73.Any progress on the Spec Ford Racer crashing AC? I'm having the same problem.
After installing CSP 0.1.75 the car worked until I tried VR. It resets my graphics driver and crashes AC. Any fix for this problem?you should update your shader patch to preview 205 : it works !
the new skippy and the ford are ok for me now
Installing CSO 0.1.75 did fix the problem when using my monitor. But with VR it resets my graphics driver and crashes AC.Do you perhaps not have CSP installed? The physics require at least 0.1.73.
I have to assume yes, ever since the first mod released this car was always a bitch to control, even when compared to skip barber or formula mazda. Is this car supposed to be twitchy? Me and my friends have driven it and find it really hard to control.
yes it is... if you look at other sims where this one is it too, like iracing, its a hard one but it pays back when you learn to control it.Is this car supposed to be twitchy? Me and my friends have driven it and find it really hard to control.
That sounds like an issue with the app, not the car.digital rpm guage in hud does not work

Version 2.1 - Overhauled most aspects of physics
Shaking mirrors fixed.
Some mods use this 'worn thread quality' thing to simulate fresh sticker tires. As you lay down some rubber on track, it gets back up to normal fresh tire level and then starts wearing over time. When I begin a lap from the pits in practice mode, the tires are ice cold (dark blue), and the tread quality is completely gone (red vertical bars next to temp bars). I can understand overriding tire blankets to start with cold tires, as some mods do, but completely worn tread quality doesn't make sense. This is contributing to the car being nearly difficult to drive... and I've been around these cars and watched races in person. They can be twitchy, and require good throttle control to get the most out of them, but they're still fun to drive.
About this, I think it's also breaking the AI drivers? I tried an AI race and all of them pitted after 2 minutes of driving, maybe the tyre wear going from red to green tricks the AI into thinking they're worn? Some mods use this 'worn thread quality' thing to simulate fresh sticker tires.
