rFactor 2 Racing Club event
Sorry for bailing out guys, but what can I say, I was struggling. Didn't practice for that one much, and it showed. I was counting on residual familiarity with that track from GPL days, but unfortunately, that was too many years ago.

Tried to hang in there, but I felt like i was just some kind of moving road hazard. Second race was looking better for me, was picking up the pace and getting into the rythm. Then, unfortunately, spun and got stuck head first against a wall at start finish line and lost all kinds of time trying to get going again.

I'll try to be a bit more prepared for the next one :coffee:

Hope you all had fun. See you on the next one!

Thanks again to everybody who raced with us this evening. I had a great time.
Hope to see you all again soon.
Next week will be the Lola T70 Spyder at Historic Le mans.
Hopefully we'll get another decent grid.

An off topic post, a little update on my Porsche project. Four brand new tires, a professionnal interior clean up, a brand new radio and a brand new shifter that include the sound absorber, the shifter itself and the two boots.

Now I’m getting jealous. I spotted one in an alley today here in San Diego and thought about leaving a note for the owner to see if he would be interested to sell . It looked to be non operational. Not sure if I really want to take on another project though.

Yours is looking to be In much better shape. Really a fun car to drive. Enjoy!

We are actually racing the Lada vfts on Thusday. It's a perky little car around a short flowing circuit. Should provide plenty of thrills and spills. If that's not your thing, keep an eye on the Racing Club thread. The Sierra is sure to get a run out soon and we'd be happy to have you join us.
