I think I got a working setup, at least it feels close to what I like, now it's just a matter of learning if the next corner is a left or right... :tongue: Better tell my team to stock up on front wings...
But I'm gonna put in some more practice laps before Sunday so we'll see how it goes.

And my connection is working once again Yipeee more DNF's to my list of them which is getting really big so I need to do something about it. I should practice lap's more instead of testing AI. My problem is I have given them all my skill

that's correct.

Also when you logon to Windows Live go to the settings / click network Infortmation... check if the NAT Type is open.
also check out UPnP it should say "UPnP in Use"

i checked mine, says NAT TYPE strict and also UPnP not available......whats that mean? & how do i change it if i need to?

Had fun.
Am still getting used to racing in the wet.
Had to major offs in two successive laps and lost my front wing both times.
At the end my tyres were shot to pieces.

iv'e played more of Singapore then any other track, yet i still get it wrong on 2 corners sometimes.... no matter how experienced you are that track catches you out on some corners.

this track is very good, setting yourself up for the next, you need very good pace to overtake anyone as it is quite hard.

haha David i know what it is like , i horribly done my setup on Singapore in the wet... the outcome if i pushed the throttle just alittle bit it would spin the back end was very unbalanced.

without UPnP Enabled it makes things that little bit difficult on multiplayer side of things, it conflicts with others or your network.

Steve this was said by a experienced UPnP User check this out.

With UPnP enabled on the PC side, you will need it enabled on the router side.
It is just a protocol to protect your PC. It isn't a big deal to have it set up, and a bigger deal and headache if not set up. If it is enabled on the router, then you are good to go. It won't cause any issues one way or the other. But if it isn't enabled, then you can and will run into issues.

This don't look good, im running windows 7 ultimate, with an old router, over 5 years old now, tried to got admin privs but i can't get in....bugger

If you aint been into the router before then chances are the username and password are both "admin"

Wow, update your Router...the speed will be higher now on routers. we've had ours now for 2 years, works like a charm very very good.
im on Windows 7 Ultimate 2, the chances are a port isn't open in the router settings, which is causing conflict, meaning you cannot connect to some folks but not everyone, with me i can connect to anyone since it's been sorted out here.

...Dam it, can't sign in to windows live in the game for some reason now, just says signing in and stays there for ever, any ideas guys?

I get that sometimes, and when GFWL finaly decides it can't connect and shows the error code, then the game crashes. Have search for an solution but so far the only thing that helps for me is a reboot of the computer.
