For once qualified on options, did a dissapointing 1:30.7xx on a faster lap (was .8 seconds quicker) made a small mistake which made me not go quicker. Qualified 3rd, due to a 5 place grid penalty the polesitter ItalianRed, became 2nd.

Start was bad, lost 2 places at once. I tried to stay close, but just couldn't keep up the pace. Had a short battle with Italian, but he left all of a certain. Something happened?
Drove my laps did my pitstop and just made small mistakes here and there due to a break balance issue. Will need to look into the setup.
Had a 2 small fights with Joery, I defended my position but he made a brilliant move on the ouside going to start finish. He was on fresh options and I was on worn primes. Great move.
Drove my laps till finish, came in 5th.

Congrats to the podium finishers, unbelievable pace, and ofcourse thanx to Bartek for hosting!

pfff,I don't know what to think abouth strategy on this track.
Quali 2nd on SOFT,made to mutch laps with 1 SET of tires,4 I think.
Started 1st cuz italian 5 positions, and I was on 1st place until I went to the pit,to early in the eighth lap.
When I left the pit I was 4th, reached second place,Zomaher leave the pit with fresh SOFT with the advent of 3 seconds.
The gap increased with the time,my primes was to worn, made a few small mistakes and lost the second place in the last lap.
Anyway GG guys

OK guys, here are the initially proposed settings for the race tomorrow at 5pm Sydney time. Remember try to be online half hour before if you wanna see me fumble through the set ups and so I can invite you all to play. Ajay can't make it tho. We can tweak settings following this race. Will make sure TC and auto allowed.

Couple of questions

Lemme know what you think about the settings. I'm happy to ban ABS and Braking Assist, even Virtual Racing Line if agreed. I think it's best to have auto pit stops and limiter for now and random car assignment makes it easy, car performance equal anyway.

For those that haven't got a set up yet, go into grand prix or career mode and do a practice session. Remember fuel load will be heavy at start of race and you need to make sure you set up for primes and options.

One question - should we add AI drivers to make up the 12 or just leave for now?

Cheers

Sam

sorry that I left,I had a penalty of pitlane speeding. But i was confident for the race,I was fighting joempie, but he was yesterday all the time a ghostcar,is realy difficult to drive behind a ghostcar,I was getting unpatient and tried to overtake him but I did a little mistake, but I was already planing to leave even if I was in P1 ,the race started abit to late, and I forgot to turn off mij force feedback, because when its on it make a hell of a noise :) and at 23h30 my 2 year old daughter was sleeping in the room next door, but my other boss (wife) came in the room and she thought I was destroying the room with all that noise:).
So I had to stop with the race because I felt myself uncomfortable with my situation.
anyway would be nice also to put some screenshots of the end of the race, because its always hard to know who won or was in P2 P3....

Thanks Karl and Mark-Done.
Well do car allocation once we have everyone signed up. Its better to rank all drivers and issue cars in one go.
Signups are going very well, we may even need two races this week which is fine.
Cheers

Interesting: It seeems that the continuing light rain brought about at least 3 strategies.
1 stop: Options to Inters
2 stop: Primes-inters-inters
2 stop: Options-inters-wets.
That Dynamic weather added a dimension and the tactical choices made big differences to results.
