Was a good race this weekend, felt consistant in practice this week and did well in the Pro Am,

Q - I ran on Primes did 2 laps too preserve them as much as possible, wasnt fast enough for it too make a difference and started on options anyway.

R - Good start off the line got ver congested in turn 2 but managed to escape and made a couple of places, then into turn 4 i took a bump at the back that let those places back through, (No worries Chris) had good pace on options seemed to be catching the people i needed too, after overtaking Figjam i had a bit of a quiet period as i was on a different strategy, pitted after 11 laps for Primes, pace was jus as good on primes now as id burnt off some fuel weight, knew i had to put some good laps in to jump people in the pits, managed too jump Madmax who was very close at one point but then seemed to drop off not sure what happened too him, after that i could see Rising legend was around 15s infront, decided i couldnt catch him so i went onto fuel saving mode to make the end of the race, happy with consistency here only one spin!

It's my first Race in the Racing Club - Do I need something else than to be a licensed member??

Hi mate, no just being licensed is enough. Presumably you are up to speed with the rules of conduct on track? Clean considerate driving?

Im sure there will be a spot for you, but I hope you dont mind the guys who were originally signed up for Bills race to take priority?

Welcome Christoph!

It would be good to send a friends request via GFWL to devilsixpence so he can invite you to the race. Try to be online 10-15 minutes before the race so we can get all the drivers in the room.

When you get in the room be sure to pick the car you've chosen to drive.

Once the host starts the qualification look to see if any drivers drop, if they do then the host will leave and the room will be restarted, this will only happen once. We do this because the game can be fussy about various things ;)

Be sure that you have no game changing mods installed that may cuase a problem. We have found that car skins and lighting mods are ok.

Once we start to race there are just a few 'fair play' rules we observe, if you cause a spin it is expected that you allow the affected driver to retake the position, make way for blue flags in a safe place and most important of all.... No race is won in the first turn but many are lost.

Hope you have fun and good luck!

Nvm not joining this one sorry. Reserve for the other one as I prefer Dynamic weather, apologies.

The only reason ive set it to clear, is that it might help people perfect their dry setups, plus I know a few guys havent had much race time here at all (apart from league hotlaps), so just want a 50% familiarisation race, rather than having to cope with dynamic conditions. All the other settings are as per league.
