@Rodrigo - its better to ban aids.. coz recently everyone is complaining that this aint a sim and stuffs.. so lets make it more real..
and about grimmie.. he wins every race he participates in.. even though he claims that on his pc the results doesn't show him winning

The issue you talk about is also because of lag, mostly in quickmode tho. In custom GP's the results issue is fine. And i dont win every race i participate.. For example Sziz outqualified me in the 1st race of the mini championship by more then 0.5s, if he wouldn't have disconnected i would have had a hard time beating him in those races

Also Rodrigo is getting rather quick with aids, when we ban them him and other people will have trouble reaching their old pace (including me if we use manual gears).

Lastly, there is the issue of using a wheel or a controller. I suggest we make a list to index who uses what. That way we can make a better judgement about what aids to use or ban.

Sunday Racer = Everything allowed (always). New event's will be thrashed out and drawn up. Don't worry people I just want to create new flavour's is all ! One day you may dump auto gear's in favour of manual, I thought I never would, now I will never go back to auto lol. So people and thing's change in order for them to evolve they need correct environment's is all.

I personally use a 360 pad with the PC and think it is great and I am sure a wheel is much better, I am still learning to drive this damn car as I discovered today at Sakhir a corner I usually am weak on, I am now overtaking on and this must be due to the fact I don't use ABS now and have Medium TC and manual gears, before I was full auto full TC and ABS. so that track's for me have changed as you all have observed in my shenanigan's yes I lose the race but I don't care. It's fun to pull over for Grimmie coz he think's well is he gonna move or make my life hard ? of course I move out of the way but only ever so slightly

The next race idea I have is a mini GP championship (mini as in small race's) with all assists allowed and another one where everything is banned.

I agree with what both David and Paul are saying, and for me it's the racing itself i'm here for, winning is nice but a clean, fun race is, to me, the most important thing, everything else is secondary.

Hello again guys! Not trying to make an issue with the aids thing. It's just that i feel that i'll spend a few months to learn it all again and to set my wheel is being really boring. A so, just trying to show my point (no argue with no one, AT ALL). Mark at post 112 said "...I feel the guy with tcs and abs has the edge..." ; I ask, looking at Grimmie's races, do you really think soo? (no i isn't about lag, because in some, few, tracks i'm just behind him, and in Monaco i can win from him, i think).
Jan-Olov Johasson says he fell the car better without some aids; I say, if so, go ahead and turn it off, if that makes you fell more confotable and make the races more enjoyable.
It's all about the Fun. I'm trully not argueing (if that is speld right :wink. I'll just be a bit sad, cause i was starting to enjoy those Guedering of ours. (My wife doesn't heheh).

And how about we forget I mentioned anything about driving aids, regardless I like it without the driving aids, and notice that i prefer it off in my other racing sims too regardless of not having a wheel yet. I didn't want to start an argument, we have a good group for the races!

Well, I have bad news...I will not be able to join you guys again for a Sunday race until the middle of January. My laptop is incapable of handling the game even on low settings.

didnt mean it in a bad way i was just saying i only get lag and result issues in quickmode, not in custom (private) sessions. the weird thing in my case is that i don't think its my connection, more the CM servers or other people. for example i noticed that when i play people from certain countries (like brazil) the issues are huge. so it's probably a combination of location difference and server issues on CM's side. let's hope they fix it for f1 2011 i guess..

yeah.. my lag is completely different.. cars flying around all over the track.. then suddenly middle of no where .. all the cars are parked and im given yellow flag to not overtake.. and if i do go past the parked cars.. i get penalty.. lolz.. its absolutely hilarious.. i have to do 3~4 stops a races excluding the pit.. coz drive thru penalties.. haha..
