this is our second baby now, the first one (boy) took 52h to come out to this world so my wife is only hoping for a quick delivery this time, he's almost 3years old and he already loves driving on my G25 which makes me very happy indeed

I'm going to do some practice tonight and sunday am for this event...was wondering what kind of times you guys are turning @ hockenheim...i can manage around 1.16s on options...but thats without the fuel sim on...just want to know if i'm going to even be in the ball park.

You're right David it's exactly the same wheel.. great value. I have mine setup with a portable tv on the table in the back part of my lounge...

Agree on the deadzone as I have left it set at 0% for some time, just prefer to have no play in the middle at all. What other settings do you use?

No chance for me to get any new wheel unless a lottery win comes my way

It's the second corner I think we need to be worried about - most difficult start of any GP imo. Anyone trying their luck with a brave one up the inside I fear is going to push people into the wall, so let's hope that's not going to happen!

I was practicing really well on this track until I bought Dirt 3... oh dear! Getting back into it tonight - if anyone sees me on and wants a practice online quali / race just send a message

Well my race finished early, 2 front wings and 1 puncture and eventually hit the wall at turn 2, couldn't decide whether to try and make the turn or go onto the runoff area and hit the wall instead. Up until then i had a good few laps racing with Tracy.

thanks for hosting Tracy, a full grid again.

I'm just hoping for a full dry race tomorrow night now. I knew i should have practiced more in the wet,

Did my best, but was always behind. A bit disappointed to have my race ended for me at turn 2, even though I braked quite late enough. It was probably one of those domino effects behind me. Full props to Zomacher, who got off to a great start and presumably never lost it, to Italianred, and to everyone else who finished!

I had to spend half the race conserving fuel just to survive until the end of lap 28 (thankfully I was lapped and didn't have to do 29).

haha, well im not giving away how much i reserved and it still wasn't enough, this Track chews up fuel.

Here's a fact for you guy's to remember in tommorows league race, thsi track is 69% Full Throttle.... work that out and you won't run out of fuel!

I must thank Joempie, tbbassman for moving out of the way very nicely & also i must thank devlsixpence for an excellent battle just like the one i had with Joempie.

great job guy's , im sorry if i blocked anyone at the start, my car slid and i couldn't do anything, if i did i would have made it worse, don't worry i got a penalty for tapping devilsixpence... yes i tapped him not bumped him and i get a penalty... what a great game

My video is rendering now i reccomend watching it all 7 minutes long with different parts, i have the first 4 full laps, then i have a OMFG moment with Joempie's Pit Crew, he's lolipop man needs to be fired

Yihaaa!!!! 23 starts on this track and the first one that no one bumped me into the wall or that I had to take a left instead of right.
Thanx guys... although I helped myself not to drive a too quick qualy lap I was surprised that no one drove a 1:36 or 1:37 which I have seen many times before.

Well started on full wets which was a great choice for me. In the first laps people seem to struggle with the rain and I wasn't. Passed quiet some peeps and at a certain moment I was even 3rd, but then the track started drying and every lap I had to find new breaking point, my car was all over the place, so people han no problem passing me at all.
When it was dry I went in for primes and did my laps was in 4th with Scott behind me. The gap was yo-yo-ing between 2 and 3 seconds. Coming over the bridge I clipped the side ans spun into the wall which costed me parts of my frontwing, Scott passed me. With the damaged wing I had to put the front wing up all the time and lost loads of speed. Scott was toying with me and some times did breaktests(?) or it seemed like it. On the last lap he went wide in I took the inside and could past him coming thru the snake I got a blue flag for Hadadi and coming onto the start / finish it was a bit messy, I made space and Scott followed Zomacher, came in 5th.

I only had 1 pistop and that was a great relief.

I qualified on primes my time was 1.40,5 and 1,5 seconds off pace...

I had a good start, passed 1 or 2 guys. but then, 2nd cornerI have no idea what happened there, but ofcourse there was an incident...

After it zomacher and Italienred easily drove away from me. I made a gap to Joempie, but after several mistakes he got behind me again and passed me. Luckily Joempie was making mistakes to, and I passed him again.

From lap 13 my race was pretty boring, and in the last lap I got out of fuel, and in the last 100 meter I got a disconnection.

my conclusions:

- 6 laps on cruise mode isn't enough for finishing the race
- Valencia makes me tired(!) I was 4 seconds a lap slower in the last three laps
- I hate Valencia
- I need to practice more:tongue:
