Was a shame i couldnt race with you lot last night. I lost connection which never happens :(
If im not on a hotlap im always checking my mini-map to see if i need to move out the way.

The main thing im scared about is people under braking. This race is going to be terrible i reckon, but fingers crossed

Should always be possible to record the match or download it somewhere right? Anyway, I don't care about the Championship League, but I could imagine many others do care. I will just wait and see if the race time gets moved or not.

Maybe there should be a new topic where people can cast their vote. Not sure if the votes have to be counted per group or as a whole though. What if for example the majority as a whole doesn't want a move in time, but there is a majority in a certain group for a move? Anyway, I'll leave it up to the organisers! :D

I also check the minimap when i am in a out or in lap or messed up my hot lap.
Close racing is really hard here. There is no room to avoid hitting someone, but keeping a too big gap doesn't help either to move up a spot when someone makes a small mistake.

Really hard on the concentration and patience this track... the barriers are so close..... I am already start sweating.... :D

I'm not into football, but wouldn't disrespect anyone who does...I wouldn't like it if they started bad-mouthing the sport I love

Having said that, I think it would be ludicrous to move the start time of the race after all the fuss that was made about starting on time. It's just asking for trouble, isn't it? You'll just have to weigh up the relative importance of racing at Monaco on the one hand against watching the match live on the other. Sometimes in life, you just can't have it all.

I think it's more important to discuss race-relevant issues:

- The pit exit: with qualifying being of greater importance in this race, I would like to request that everyone tries even harder to make sure you don't ruin someone's flying lap. We need to drive out and try to stay to the right side of the yellow line (as much as possible) and if a car is approaching T1 on a flying lap, we must STOP if necessary to avoid impeding them.

- During the race: There is very little room for error around the whole track, and close racing is extremely difficult. More care than usual is needed to avoid accidently braking too late when behind. If you're following someone closely (especially someone whose pace you're unsure of), you must brake earlier than the optimum, until you can learn where they are later or earlier on the brakes than you are.

- Wet conditions: I have tried following closely behind another car in heavy rain, and it's a nightmare! On most tracks there is enough track width to duck out and actually see where you're going, but at Monaco it's just too narrow for that. I found I had to drop back (out of overtaking range) just to be able to see. I might just quit the session if it's very wet, because I don't find this track enjoyable in those conditions.

Please give me your responses, whether you're in agreement or not, but let's keep it constuctive, ok?

By the way, can anyone recommend a gfx setting/mod that improves the way spray is rendered? When following closely in spray there comes a point where suddenly everything goes blurred and if you drop back or move to the side it takes several seconds for the view to SNAP back to decent visibility again...
