Lol yeah, I kept doing the same m8. I have my setting for the steering lenearity and saturation at 70% and 75% and the rest kept on 0% and 100%, if that helps u out. Iam pretty sure it will tho lol. U should also make a platform for your pedals (like a little ramp), that's what I done and they are a lot better (easier responsiveness). Hang in there and you'll soon be back on the pace, only with a little more control over the car lol.

I broke my gt so I got the g27. Didn't like it at 1st so I made some changes. Check it out On my YouTube account "cocker2k8", should be under "customized g27".

Anyway, tomrrow or day after expect the first vid in my career series, of course this being me I restarted it so I am back at Lotus season 1, 40% race distance, don't worry I will do a lot of editing, enjoy them vids

I missed a lot of apexs at Bahrain during recording

yea i saw lol pretty much hacked that s**t up lool, im subbed to you if i remember rightly, thanks for the tip, and for some reason in gt5 it starts steering itself, dunno why its doing that. and also did yours always rotate every time you turned the ps3 on and then again when you put the game in?

Sorry guys I posted this in the wrong thread so re-posting here (Not sure how to delete it from there as well...)

lol nice one Matt :)

Qualifying: Should have done a lot better in qualifying this week.. went out on the first run and done two 1:26's but then came into the pits for a breather before going out for a final two lap run. Was up by over a second half way round but then went into turn 7 and was distracted by a car that had gone off on the right and spun out myself. Set myself for one final lap and was going pretty well and found myself over 2 seconds up at the second split (this would have made it my fastest lap at this circuit by a mile!!) but screwed up turn 10 by running too wide and then trying to make up for it the back end almost got away as I came around turn 12!! Gutted and had to settle for the penultimate spot on my usual row lol

Race: Very unhappy to see the rain coming down as I sat in the garage… never done any wet weather running here so had no idea what it was going to be like. I opted to stick to my dry setup rather than make any changes or go for one of the engineers wet ones and hoped it would be good enough to allow me to keep the car on the track. My usual cautious getaway saw Gagsy past me leaving me at the back as we approached turn 1. A few cars seemed to have a problem here and ran very wide onto the grass and I managed to go past the Gagster as he tried to rejoin and then no sooner was I past him than he disappeared. The first couple of laps I just spent re-learning the braking points for the wet, and making sure I stayed away from the kerbs which I had been attacking during my practices. I was surprised to find that the lap times were not that bad for me at this point, I was keeping around the 1:31 mark which wasn't far off my dry times in practice and I was staying in touch with a group of cars not too far in front. As I started to push to close the gap I did make a few mistakes mainly around turn 7 which cost me time and meant that I lost touch with the guys in front. Got up as far as 4th when people started pitting and seemed to be able to stay out longer than pretty much everyone else as far as I can tell and with the track drying I opted to change to primes at my stop so that I could get through to the end of the race without another stop. I eventually made my decision to come into the pits and came through the final chicane only to find Andrew's car parked across the entrance following an error at the chicane. Luckily I managed to get the brakes on in time and pulled the car sideways to avoid him and once he was on his way I got into the pits for my stop. At least it gave me a chance to make sure I selected the correct tyres lol

Anyway, once back on my way I was back in 6th or 7th spot and enjoyed a pretty consistent run for the remainder of the race. The gap to Andrew was fairly consistent at this point and it was only with around 6 or 7 laps to go that I suddenty realised that I had left my engine mapping set at standard after my pit stop *doh* Anyway, switched to fast for the remainder of the race and cut Andrews lead on me down to around 10 seconds but had no time to make any further inroads. Would have been interesting to see if I could have made a battle of it with him had I realised sooner but another time perhaps. The primes were really good and it felt like I could have raced forever on them.. managed to get in a couple of 1:25's which is good for me and although the rain came down towards the end there was never really any danger of having to pit again for inters although it was pretty heavy on the last lap so much longer and it could have changed things.

Great race again.. thoroughly enjoying every aspect of this series. Good job to all who finished and as I expected there were a fair number of drop outs due to connection issues here… Spain seems particularly bad for that unfortunately.

Nice to pick up double figure points and now for Monaco!!!!
