Jamie I didn't spin, I got hit by Nicholas when he ran wide then hit me coming back onto the track. That put me pretty much last and had to finish the lap on a damaged front wing then pit in. I then ran my heart out being 40 seconds down but had a few little spins, overtook nearly all the field throughout the race to get 2nd after Ollie crashed then ran out of petrol half way through the last lap lol good race tho guys

Sorry Lee, I didn't realise that I had hit anyone.

sorry about hitting you but when i came back on track from the grass you just appeared there going very very slow and my weary reflexes couldn't stop me from hitting you :-(

No worries mate, I totally missed the corner after the long straight after Eau Rouge, I was on the grass very slow to wait for everyone to pass....... :D There was no damage and still a long race to go. If I hadn't missed the corner the final race result would have probably been the same. ;)

Mattuie we only ever race on a Saturday, 8pm GMT, that is the rules of the Championship, we usually do it every single week, but we have had 2 breaks so far this season, like the last saturday going we had a break, sorry but this championship will race every single Saturday until all 19 races are complete.

Hmm except on a few tracks I run with 1/1 aero.
I don't get "It kind of looks as if the front wheels are scrubbing or sliding laterly a lot of the time in corners."
If you use Viktor's setup I can't see much of an advice I can give, because he is Viktor.
But good idea to bring the setup discussion right here. Come on guys, ship your advices to daddy.

Sorry Romain, Im not explaining it very well, scrubbing and sliding probably isnt the best description.

Its difficult to explain, all i can say is that in the videos i mentioned the drivers seem to be going onto full lock for nearly every corner. It just looks weird to me.

You may suffer oversteering. It's a style but can maybe be considered as a waste of turning ability.
Just watched Nico Rosberg's qualy lap @ Istanbul and he reaches full lock in most corners !
Same with last year's pole position by M.Webber @ Catalunya.

OK Matt, that'll be good... I'll try to get some time free so we can meet up.

To be honest I have been assistless for so long that when I try to put them back on to see if it will help me I just find it strange. Manual gears in particular as they help so much with the braking for me. I'll try to get on again tonight for a quick test run to see what times I am doing at the moment. I know my best Time Trial time is around 1:15 and for the League race I ran there a couple of months ago I was around the 1:25 mark on full fuel but I hope to bring that down before Sunday.

Looks like it purely down to saturation and linearity settings.

I have mine set so that the wheel in my hands exactly replicates the position of the one on the screen.

Think i will just keep it that way.

Guy's don't be bringing up the past..... we all have different opinions & views, i do not want this getting out of control or i'll be putting my foot down.

We will have a big post today (from the League staff) Concerning all matter's , merging, Driver complaints, Forum Arguing etc.

I'm using a Logitech Driving Force GT wheel, manual gears, no traction control, no abs, basically no assists on. A wheel enhances the realism and the enjoyment of the game no end! I cant play racing games with a pad now as its just no fun, had my wheel a year and a half and never looked back! Those of you who don't use a wheel, I seriously recommend getting one, it'll double the enjoyment of the game for you!

Despite a reasonable quali the race went west from the start.

Turn 1. I was on the outside so I gave a lot of space knowing a lot would turn in early, as I rounded the bend I saw the carnage that ensued. Then it started... Lap 1 drive through penalty for overtaking under yellow conditions, Im still trying to figure out how this came about but im sure its in my video somewhere. Trying to get in the pits resulted in the car taking some nose damage, NP I figured I could handle it unfortunatly I got a speeding penalty.

Lap 2 and another trip to the pits, again I took damage getting into the pits, managed to get the crew out to change the nose and took the penalty the next lap. Everything was going fine until the rain stopped and I went in for a set of primes... Which the car decided it didn't like and showed me just how much it hated the tires by sending me off on lots of bends.

Then I get the notorious ATI driver crash so a nice 1 frame every 2-3 seconds for a while followed by the whole system crashing.

Glad others had a good race, gratz to the podium folks (no supprise Andrew won).

EDIT: Just tried to load my video file only to find its corrunpted from the crash :( Oh well, next race may be better :)

No probs Nicholas, I know you never meant it. It was at turn 3, u went wide and I went to take second On the inside but you came back onto the track and knocked my front end, that put me into the wall and took off my front bumper. These things happen tho m8, and It was in the first few hectic corners. Looking at the gap time we were pretty much equal throughout the race and at some points I was even catching you but very well raced m8, it would have been a good battle. Took a bit too much fuel out of the car trying to catch back up tho which lost me second place And nearly 3rd lol.

Nice video Bill, hope I did not cut you off in the first corner too much, saw the havoc that was going to happen in front of me and had to react fast, went from 7th into 3rd position through the first corner and then onto 2nd after your incidence with Joempi...:)

Was a nice race with the 75%... Went onto primes as soon as the weather got better, around the 13th lap or so...
