Is there a way to restore original skins easily for real life teams if I've previously modified (for example installing the current Red Bull livery mod with corrected colour, or applying special liveries for Monaco etc)?

I am editing a file that already has an alpha layer on it (so it has a black background when I open Photoshop). But even after editing the alpha layer it exports with the black background.Put an Alpha layer to your dds
FYI,I am trying to edit the decals file for the Mercedes car, but every time I remove a sponsor from the DDS, it exports with a black background and not a transparent one - any idea why?
I was using BC2 instead of BC7 which was the issue. Thank you.
you have to download the 3d template on the Jburon21 websiteWhen I have the file for my skin (a .dds file) and the fom-car 3d model opened in Photoshop, how can I view my skin on the 3d model?
is there a way where i can return from vanilla to modded game, without using Ego erp everytime, takes some time to do itright click properties on steam over F1 2021 and check files integrety
thats the only way, once you did one time to vanilla, just create backup of files you modify, after that juste copy paste it to return to vanillais there a way where i can return from vanilla to modded game, without using Ego erp everytime, takes some time to do it
You need export the .xml file from the .erp file from the team you want to edit the performance of. Changing the mass value within that .xml file works the best for changing the general performance of a car since a lighter car will be faster. So lower the mass value to make a car quiker and raise the mass value to make a car slower is the easiest thing to do. If you want to change engine power and such seperatly you can try to follow this tutorial:How to change teams speed? I try to edit myself it via EGO ERP Archiver ( change KERS value to 70000, change fuel and engine spinning, and it doesnt work. However, importing other mods files ( e.g Fantasy 2022 f1 mod) work
Probably because you have the wireframe stil turned on in the flat imagage file from the liveryEvery time I open Jburon21's Mercedes 2021 model it has this green tint to it, is there any way to fix that?
Seemed to be the issue, but now the decals (sponsors) aren't visibleProbably because you have the wireframe stil turned on in the flat imagage file from the livery
Aren't the decals stored in a seperate .dds file? If I remember correctly you have a paint.dds file and a decal.da.dds file or something like that.Seemed to be the issue, but now the decals (sponsors) aren't visible
It's still in the 3D file, I'll send the file listAren't the decals stored in a seperate .dds file? If I remember correctly you have a paint.dds file and a decal.da.dds file or something like that.
The decals (sponsors) are the same as they were prior to turning off the wireframe.Seemed to be the issue, but now the decals (sponsors) aren't visible
Thank youThe decals (sponsors) are the same as they were prior to turning off the wireframe.
The real issue is that 3D in Photoshop is terrible and is now currently deprecated.
The decals are the same as they were before the wireframe was turned off. The problem is that there are 2 overlapping pieces of 3D geometry… hense the flickering. This is a limitation of the software. The options are to use an older version of Photoshop that still supports 3D ie 2019 or earlier, or use a real 3D program like Blender.
His FOM model works fine though, and I am using the 2019 version of CC.The decals (sponsors) are the same as they were prior to turning off the wireframe.
