It was happening to me also after 1.10, so i verified the files in steam, which deleted all the mods in the game, then i reinstalled the mods and everything is ok so far

how is 4096x4096 "too small"? Or are you not using the updated version of EEA

They are 4096*4096 px if you export them using EEA 6.1
