Install this mod first, than install only track folder from SC mod.
Ok, so I installed this mod (career version) and the SC mod and tested it out last night and here are my observations while racing in Hungary:
1. Couldn't see too much of AI aggressiveness in practice and qualifying sessions and they dint crash out much too (does this mod apply to an entire race weekend in career or just the final race?)
2. After the Hungary race I had 2 DNF's and Vettel finished 18th :D; never happened to me before so at least I know the mod is working !!!
3. I crashed out on lap 16 or something, broke my front wing and punctured my front left tyre :(, but the safety car dint come out. I believe it's because I was way outside the track right? (no yellow flags were waved)
4. At the start of the race I noticed my tyres were already worn quite a bit and I believe that if you start within the top 10 you have to start with the exact set of tyres you qualified with correct? Well, at least I dint notice this with the stock game, I always got a fresh set of tyres for race start (although it was the same compound used in qualifying). Did this mod correct this? If yes, then
5. Does the realism mod also simulate tyre punctures if you run over sharp objects on the track (debris from other cars for e.g.)? Is there any other mod that simulates this?
6. Car parts such as the wings and wheels break off easily now. They're not built like a tank anymore

Overall, I think that it's a great mod, but I would just like to see the AI crash out a lil more often without my interference, of course even in real life it doesn't happen too often, it's random ;)

In answer to your points above:
1. mod applies to the entire race weekend. I see crashes and retirements in both practice and qualifying when playing with this mod. And the AI retire and crash themselves out in practice and qualy, the human player does not need to cause the AI to crash and retire - they will do this on their own.
2. Nice to know that the mod is working for you!
3. No, you won't be able to bring out the SC if you crash and get a puncture. It is the AI car that needs to crash on the track and retire from the race after it crashes on the track for the SC to deploy.
4. Correct, you will start with same tyres from final qualifying session if you finish on the top 10, the only exception being for wet or intermediate tyres.
5. No debris cannot impact your car, but I have seen other AI cars run over wings on the track and lose their own front wings. So from what I can see debris can damage AI cars, but not the human player's car.
6. Yes, this is due to the realistic damage mod being incorporated into this mod.

Holy moly! How did I not come around this mod earlier! Downloading now and giving thoughts tonight!

P.S. Does that mod include the improved tarmac and stuff, as the 3 part 7-zip mod for improved track graphics? Or would I have to use both mods?

I've lurked on these forums for a while now mostly looking at setups, I don't usually try mods but this peaked my interest...

It's bloody spectacular. I honestly can't believe how much better this has made the game. No more finishing on the podium in low level cars by abusing the AIs pansy agression!

Only thing I'd like to see is harsher braking from the AI, they still seem to pussy foot a little when it comes to breaking into the corners. But it's still amazing that they will fight for that position if you take it.

I made a quick vid from my 3rd race using the mod, a battle between me in a Sauber, Jenson Button and Felipe Massa which I thought demonstrated how the AI will fight you for position really well. Take a peek.

Keep up the great work I'll be playing F1 for even more hours now :D

You can install both mods, we don't have files that overwrite eachother

Thanks a lot driver, for your detailed reply :) At least now I'm aware what to expect from this mod and thanks to Demy for creating it

yeah, i've got a steam version.. apparentely it's the database that does it.. when i install everything except for the database file the game will run.
i tried a few mods, i think a completely fresh install will do the trick..
Now that i know that it should work, at least i am sure it has something to do with my computer ;)
does this mod do anything without the database file btw ?

They brake lately due to the original braking points.

When using this mod in career mode (yes i have the career file installed), do i need to play on a specific race distance, or am i ok to play any?

Great Mod Demy, makes the game so much more enjoyable :)

@Demy van Zoggel

You are the only one and the best on your domain. May be the time to give us a complete tutorial about scalling performance of the car... etc. I means each value you have tweek so far and listed on the first post to give us an idea to achieve that.

Those mod will need this kind of complete tutorial like

mod 1982
mod 1996
mod 1997
mod 1999
mod 2001
mod 2006
mod 2007 and
mod 2013

You surely cant do every realism mod for each yrs, Like 2012 is surely enough for you to work on. So more peolple working on this kind of realism mod is not too much for the community ;)
