Yes, you need replace all the modded files with original files when you want to play online. This doesnt count virtual mods, only physic mods.

ahh okey, I thought I could play online even tho I had these mods.... just thought they wouldn´t work, but they are stopping me from being able to connect apparently :|

EDIT: Can I clean my F1 2012 folder without Un-Installing the game and loosing my save? ... I am trying to put my backup files to F1 2012 folder but still I´m not able to connect Online.

There probably are more modified files in your folder. Which mods did you install and which mods did you replace?

you need to remove realism mod, realistic damage mod and safety car mod. I think you can keep the rest!

Since it seems that the Safety Car Mod and your Realism Mod are going to use some of the same files, and that both mods work wonderfully together, it would be great if you guys could work together and integrate the two mods.
Some might like this, but please, I would really like the option of choosing which bits I want for myself. I edit my own database and other files, and I only want to add Roberto/Remys safety car fix, I hope this will be possible :)
(I must add, there is nothing wrong with the other mods, so no offence meant, I just want to do my own modifications).

Yeah of course they will always release their own SC mod for people like me and you. I'd like to play with my own settings too and decided to share them. But since I found the DNF stuff and tyre scaling this became a little bigger then just sharing some files. My database doesn't even look like the default one hehe.

Do ai still pit for wets or inters when it starts to rain? After a race in Melbourne with 5 laps left it started to rain quite heavy within a lap. I pitted all the ai stayed out on dry tyres. I caught three cars at the end slipping around but should they have pitted?

Thats the question, should they?

I think this is the same as in RL, its starting to rain with a couple more laps should I pit or not?

Yesterday i was on xbox and Webber stayed out on wets while rest was on inters, he was driving very slowly but there were just a couple of laps left.

So i dont think it has to do with my mod, I also didnt change a value like this.;)

LOL realism mod is to buy at least a semi decently realistic game.

Race Pro or Forza 4 for xbox, Gran Turismo 5 for playstation or the actual real sims that you find on the pc.

"Realism mod" lol, unless your 12 years old, get a hard on over things just because they got an official license, or are 60 years old and have never played a video game in your life, then I have no idea what in God's name would give people even the idea to go buy this peice of crap arcade joke of a game, when there are some decent, or better, racing games on all platforms.

Then on top of that, to make a realism mod? Go buy a proper game/sim if u want realism, this game is for casual gamers who know nothing about real racing, "realism mod" lolololol I dont know wether to laugh or feel sorry for how unbelievably little people know about racing cars. You guys really crack me up.

You and the shift/shift 2 crowd should unite lol.

Thanks for posting, you made your point.
You dont have to play this mod and you dont have to play this game if you dont like it. :)

And please dont talk trash, what else should I call this?
Google realism mod and you'll find out there are games like CoD, BF and Skyrim having a realism mod. And wow, how realistic are those games. Are you gonna bash over there too? Good luck bro! ;)

And you've done a great job Demy, it' s just the same for me - I have already been making changes to my own tastes, so it would be difficult for me to change to a different database now :)

The 50+ flashback option simply doesn't work. I tried to edit the database myself but I will always get 0 flashbacks unless I change it manually in game (maximum I can put is always 4, of course). I tried changing the general difficulty, not only the one of the AI, but it still doesn't work.

Hm...

Aero coefficient downforce, aero coefficient lift, rear/front height, drag, force, air density, air resistance, inertia, anti roll, ballast, differential, damping, fast bump, fast rebound, slow rebound, these things reminds me of real life, and when they are present in a simulated environment i think its called realism. FYI they are all present on F1 2012, and this isn't even 30% of the settings of the car. Obviously with whatever mods we use we still are not going to have a realistic handling like Game Stock Car, but with some tweaks this game can be awesome.
And that is just about handling, there is some more aspects of realism included. But if you don't like it, its your right to it.
I hope you are enjoying GT5 and Forza 4, good luck planning your race strategy

This was a weird race, got a penalty for Button crashing into me and the SC came out... I pitted for tires, then I wanted to take out the penalty but the guys changed my tires again! haha .... went through the pits 3 times in 25% race, that´s something new for me :p.
But yeah, only 7 cars finished :/ ... and Kovalainen in 2 place from 24!

What track was it? And were you involved in a lot of DNF's?

It was the Japanese Grand Prix and no, was just involved with the Button crash ... actually saw a engine blow up on a Williams, was in his slipstream and all of a sudden I got smoke in my face and almost rammed him and me out of the track haha
