  • Race meetings will consist of a qualifying session and feature race that consists of a number of laps aimed to be approximately 55 minutes in length with four longer endurance races of an 85 minute length mixed in.
  • Races will be awarded points as per BTCC system with winner scoring 20 points. Clarification below.
  • On normal feature races each player will be required to make at least one pit-stop with two pit-stops required for endurance races.
  • Pole-sitter scores an extra point.
  • Lobby will open at 8.15pm (UK Time) to allow for any connection issues.
  • Qualifying begins promptly at 8.30 (UK) - anyone not joining in time will be able to start from the back of the grid.
  • Qualifying is a 5 lap race with 10 second gap between starts, winner is best certified time.
  • Damage will be off for this series as Forza has incorrectly modelled the penalty on aero for these cars, however extra attention will be paid to people who treat their and other peoples' cars as anything but the beautiful and fragile machines that they are.
  • There will be a Teams' Championship in addition to the Drivers' Championship. There is also a prize fund for each championship with a minimum of 10 million XP in each kitty. Prizes for Teams' Championship are shared equally between both teammates.
  • Events are bi-weekly on Monday nights.
  • There will be a stewards' room and this will be manned by the 1st, 8th, and last placed points scorers based on the previous round's standings. If any of these people are one of the drivers under investigation the next position down (or ahead in the case of the last placed person) will assume stewardship for the incident in question. Incidents will be investigated upon referral to the Stewards Room thread. If your defence in a situation is that you did not see a car in your blind spot it is imperative that you save the replay so the stewards can examine your in-car view.
  • There is a success ballast in this series where the top 4 drivers in the overall championship table will run with -5% grip for both races and qualifying.
  • For the Driver's championship standings there will be two drop rounds where your two worst results from the season will be removed. This can serve to alleviate having to miss rounds due to other commitments or to forgive you for bad results in a long season.

Paulo isn't in this championship. The rest are but Brad, Wayne, and Mark aren't available tonight because of various other commitments. There's also Mike in the list of racers... he always shows up even though he's rather inconspicuous on the RD boards.
 
Round - Round 3 @ Catalunya Grand Prix

Qualifying Report/Starting Position - Last (P9)

Race Report - Started last, as I couldn't get a clean lap in! got off the line slow, as I thought that it was pointless me trying to gain positions from the start as in reality today I was only racing Andrew S, as everybody was out of sight really.. Managed to get Andrew on lap 2 when he had a bit of a powerslide round and out of the hairpin before the final section of slow corners.

Held Tom up for a little bit when he came out of the pits, but made a mistake and he was up the inside so chose not to fight much really. After that it was pretty much a case of drive round the track and try not to get into too much trouble.. I didn't spin the car in this event so that is a little improvement.

After watching the replay and looking at the driving of others, I seemed to do quite well in the first and second sector and was respectable enough.. the last section though I was really slow and was struggling for grip. The car did feel a little twitchy under braking for some of the corners but not others, but this is a technical track and setup is a big weakness for me, so I think i was always going to come unstuck here!

Finished P8 with a fastest lap of 1:46:2 which is about 1.2 seconds better than anything I managed beforehand, and am happy with the points, think i've beat my total for last season already lol.

Round Summary - Ok start, need to get practicing for the next event if im to close up to the midfield (God I sound like Kovalianen!), Hopefully a lot of practice and maybe somebody will give me a hand with setting up the car for the next round!
 
Fairly peaceful race last night. Quali went well with a comeback pole 1:42.6xx. No drama at the start of the race. The only damage I got was from the pit lane entry lol. Very happy to win with the fastest lap!

Le Mans should be interesting, possibly an Audi/Merc track so could be difficult but I'll give it a go and hope to get some more decent points.
 
Round - Round 3 @ Catalunya Grand Prix
Qualifying Report/Starting Position - Quali went okay because I didn't test, 7th place was where I started but could have gone 4th but locked up on the last chacaine and went wide, abolishing my faster lap.
Race Report - Had a bit too much wheel spin off the start, so didn't have my usall routine of pick up a place of two. I out braked Tom into the first corner, going up the inside, but had to back off to aviod hitting Chris in front, and Tom got past ont eh second part of the chacaine. I got past Tom next lap and started to catch Chris and Mike ahead. Mike pitted and then a couple laps later Chris pitted. I stayed out for a lap to try and jump Chris in the stops but it backed fired and he got further ahead. Then Mike started to pull away from Chris and I started to catch him up. I kept getting close, but kept making mistakes in the dirty air and was loosing 1.5secs a lap. I dropped back and caught up a couple of times, and on the 30 lap, Chris made a mistake round turn 3 where I am quite strong. I got a run on him going up to the 4th corner and managed to overtake him. I stayed in 5th until the finish with Chris just 0.3 secs behind.
Round Summary- Okay round for not haven driven the car since last race, my fastest lap was 1.43.2 but it was dirty.
 
Started 5th ish, went backwards!! Good little battle with brad but no chance really!! 2nd round of penalty was soul crushing!!! Jus cant get my head into the race knowing i have a penalty just get wound up and slow :( no fun!!
