Wotever updated SimHub, DIY Sim racing Dash with a new update entry:

6.0.1 Hotfix

Little Sunday hotfix !

- Pressure unit was not saved
- PCars 1/2 lastsectortime was empty.
- Map generation was crashing on Nordschleiffe (huge map) The size is now limited to something safe for the engine.
- DataCoreForula editor was gone, it's back now.
- Low fuel trigger is now managed one lap per one lap with increment and decrement actions (instead of two laps)
- Removed "developper mode" toggle which doesn't toggle anything since v6.0.

Since I always feel guilty to release a Hotfix...

I'll be waiting for the next features! Especially the association between led layouts and displays as you suggested in post #1593 if it's still planned.

Hi Wotever, I've just come back to racing for a while after a break, and it would appear that my Display has stopped working.
When I plug in the Nextion display it seems to detect it ok initially (N comes up on the display). However in the 'logs' tab it just spams "Searching for Device" and while in-game (Dirt 4) it doesn't register any gear changes.
I've tried changing Com Port, updating the display and trying it on another PC, all to no avail.
I could be missing something blindingly obvious, so I apologise in advance if that is the case.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi It looks like the game is not recognised. When you are ingame and you make alt-tab do you see in simhub title "game connected" ?

You can also review that the connection is correct, on the nextion list you should see a non zero FPS showing :

Hum not sure, but your config file doesn't looks like mine :

I would eventually remove the file and let Dirt recreate it (and so you will be sure it's pointing to the right file) :
Here's how mine looks like :

Update 6.0 out the hell,that's hellish good.But some thing going wrong.When i play assetto it is a little bit courios.The mostly keys on the keyboard turn the headlight from the car on or off.For an example,when i press F1-F5 for a cam change the headlight turn on and off.Is that a bug or have i a problem with my pc?

Hi Wotever, thanks again for the reply. A mix of your config, running things as Admin and the order in which I started SimHub/Dirt 4 seems to have done the trick.

Maybe it's a dumb question but when simhub is closed does it happens ?
If it still happens you should look into AC config,
If it doesn't happens anymore, try to disable the keyboard input plugin when running Simhub, but honestly I don't see how SimHub could do such a thing by itself.

When i play assetto and use version 5.4.5 the strange problem does not occur.I have mapped some keyboard keys to switches and it will work fine with that version...Then i changed the Versions to 6.0 and all settings have been redone.The key and screen mappings all be perfect done.But when iam in game and press a key on the keyboard,the headlight turns on or off sometimes.I have mapped in assetto only the L key for light and nothing else.Via simhub i have mapped the l key to a switch.As i said with Version 5.4.5 will this work fine.

Have you installed the AMS plugin ? Also make sure not to choose the wrong dash (I made the mistake a couple of time starting the system info dedicated one instead of the race version.

which game are you using ? Mytex has two versions, one system infos only, one system infos + in game dash.

It looks like you don't get game data, , when you are in game does simhub title shows "game connected" ? What game are you trying ?

I´m using Automobilista, most of templates are working full some other are working in parts.By using the tablet the Loading screen displays "loading template MYTEC%20C127, Registering 1 Components and Waiting for data" then appears MYTEC sysinfo template.
If i Use the PC monitor, pressing start on the thumbnail from MYTEC C127 same thing sysinfo template is appearing.
Mybe it`s a issue with automobilista, would be nice to know if other users have similar problems.

Now i erased the folder MYTEC C127 -SystemInfo in DashTemplates, so there is only the folder MYTEC C127 - choose this and: MYTEC C127 -SystemInfo appears on my screen. Meanwhile I think its a halloween thing

OK, killed that halloween Monster by myself:
Opened MYTEC C127.djson with editor, changed values in line 14 and 15.
Works Unfortunately not the map for Automobilista...

But beware: As I have used 6 toggle switches (ON - OFF) I ran into a problem called ghosting and masking!
Can be solved by putting a diode on every switch.
Bow I think I must ask Mr. @Wotever for some additional functionality ....
- Adding SHIFT function to the input events.
- Increment, decrement game volume in smaller steps (1%, 2%, 5%)

In Dirt Rally you can use IsInPitLane to determine when the countdown to start is over and you are ready to go. So I have an image with this property: [DataCorePlugin.GameData.NewData.IsInPitLane] and DataCorePlugin.CurrentGame]='CodemastersDirtRally' Now, how could I make a different image appear when the isinpitlane condition is over and dissapear a few seconds later (for intance a green light or a "go!" icon?

Apart from this: have you considered a way to let users upload and share their designs for Dash Studio?

You have also a now a device scan status window what does it shows ?

I think I already looked for spintires, but sadly, there is no data exposed.
