Hello Wotever. I have another suggestion! Which may be easy and bring value...

How about creating a web-only widget (like ETS2 map) which links to a user-selected web page (like an iframe)?

This would allow to integrate Web pages such as youtube videos (known good practice while driving! ), ETS2 local radio or other useful Web pages (help pages, news,...)

What do you think? Is it as easy as I think..?

Should be doable But i will try to add it to WPF too

My project is with one TM1638, two MAX7219 / MAX7221 7 Segment modules and one MAX7219 / MAX7221 Led Matrix module. I want to put some others buttons and the rotary enconder in this project. I will use one arduino Nano or Uno, I don't know yet.

I have G27, RF2 and PC1.

Sadly the rotary encoders are not supported , I made countless attempts and in the simhub sketch I could not get a reliable result.

iPad is a bit special, you need to add it to home screen (ideally from Safari) then start it from here, and finally swipe up to hide the menu. iOS ios is the new Microsoft about browser not supporting all the modern web standard

Add-on question: is there a pre-made dash out there that I could use to simply list all my laps? I.e. one lap after another, simply comparing my own lap times. That'd be great for hotlapping. Pretty much like this but only my own laps.

You might have a look at this video:

You might need another arduino, but these pieces are really cheap.
Ordered the parts today, will have them tomorrow.
Maybe I can tell you how it works out on sunday.
If all goes well I am going to use the box as a hub for the simhub hardware. With a 4 port USB-hub in the box and 2 ports routed out of the box for e. g.a nextion and an arduino with LEDs..

I have included a screen in my dashboard with a generated track map. I've noticed that some maps in Assetto Corsa are not displayed. Maybe they are not available for some reason. I'd like to include a text on my dashboard ("Track map not available") for when this happens. What would be the code?

The map get generated after a few laps, I've embedded a few records made on my own that's why they appeared at first run. Today I don't output the info that the map is actually available but I will add it for the next release

I've included the gear on a corner, just to have it as an essential part of the dashboard when racing, even if you are taking a quick look at the map. I thought of including the track name, but AC shows the file name, not a real name with format, and it looks awfull. Something that would be interesting is the track lenght, but I think that's not supported. Am I wrong?

Exact, I could look to integrate the track lenght, I think a majority of the games gives it.

concerning the track name, indeed AC gives it a bit raw, but if you look into the AC raw data i've extracted a more "friendly name":

The moving one or the static one ? The moving one has a max size for performances purposes.

The moving one. What exact max size? Anyway, I think it would be great to be able to control de zoom level. In very long tracks the track view is not very useful or comfortable to use. I don't need to see many kilometers ahead, but just the upcoming bends.
