Codemasters only support 1 (one!) program to listen to UDP. Good description on YT:

Most of the recent codemaststers games allows multiple channels (everything after dirt3 if i remember correctly) , even f12017 allows to set them in the config file in addition of the easy "in-game settings", the real trouble is when the reading apps do not let you change their listening port in this case it starts to be pain and require this app. to dispatch the data on multiple apps using the same port.

PS : F12017 full support is in good shape, I will release it tomorrow probably, with the full api update, everything is working : map with opponents, leader board with names ... and lot of new data desperately missing on the previous opus :D

Seems like I have to do some more research (trial and error) to get both working .... :coffee:

Wow :)
Now this sounds GREAT!!!! :thumbsup:

I was trying to fight with Codemasters Proxy server, problem is that the simhub and proxy main port is same (20777), and proxy server app won´t let me change that (always write saved succesfully, but after restart there is 20777 back).
I have two options - change port for simhub, or your simple solution (should work, because simtools and simhub have different ports).
But can you please tell me how to add second "output" port to hardware_setting_config file?
Got it like this now
<motion_platform>
<dbox enabled="true" />
<udp enabled="true" extradata="3" ip="127.0.0.1" port="20770" delay="1" />
<fanatec enabled="true" pedalVibrationScale="1.0" wheelVibrationScale="1.0" ledTrueForGearsFalseForSpeed="true" />
</motion_platform>
Thank you!!!

Could you tell me which game exactly so I can give you the exact config ? Codemasters do variants for each single game :D

I need ports 20777 for simhub and 4123 for simtools.
20770 i got there right now was just for testing - been trying to make codemasters proxy "listen" at this port - but as i said unsuccesfully:(

For dirt rally something like that should do the trick:

<motion_platform>
<dbox enabled="true" />
<udp enabled="true" extradata="3" ip="127.0.0.1" port="20777" delay="1" />

Wotever updated SimHub, DIY Sim racing Dash with a new update entry:

5.4.2, F12017 Support

Hello everyone,

What's new ?
  • F12017 : Finally codemasters got a step further for third party apps, for this opus, live map with opponents, and leader boards are finally working, and access to all the data given by this new iteration of the game.
  • The start game buttons will now use the steam start mode when a steam id is available (no more game path picking), you still can set a custom path if required.
What changed ?

Congratulations for this great app.

Is there any plan to Works on Windows Mobile?

Thanks.

Since it's a web version it could work, I do not own any windows mobile phones, if i'm not wrong windows phone embed the little brother of edge which is running fine on desktop,

Try to pop your mobile browser and go to ipofyourcomputer:8888 ;)

Hi Wotever,
I've tested your hotfix (5.4.1). Unfortunately I still have an issue on my side. It looks different as before. Now the screen doesn't freeze anymore but after a while (still random I'm afraid) it behaves erratically (by instance the current lap value shows 1.20.....then 1.22... then 1.24 aso... so not smooth anymore and the second screen of the same dashboard which contains a generated static map item doesn't show the cars anymore).

Maybe the problem comes from my side...would be interesting to know if anybody else on this forum has the same problem ?

Anyway don't waste your time with my issue I can deal with, I'm back to the 5.3.1 release which fulfills my needs ;-)
Can you give me a little more info so I can try to test ? It's not wasted time ;) what dash template ? Which game ? And which phone/tablet ?

The behaviour is matching my auto reset pattern. just to explain a little, simhub sends the "frame" changes as fast as possible , the browser replies back when the data has been processed, if simhub detects too much gap between data sent and replies it wait for the reply for 500ms if after 500ms the reply is not here but the connection is still established it will reset the gap counter and start send data again.

It looks like this pattern is occurring in loop.

I've added some logs when this occurs. Could you send me the log files when this happens so I can confirm this theory ?[/QUOTE]

Hi Grand Master,
This post will be probably useless, since you released the 5.4.3 with the optional web sync (I've just seen it 2 minutes ago :)), anyway I've performed a few tests this afternoon (still on 5.4.1:)) and for your information, here are the log files :
Game : AC; Dashboard : ConceptDash_v4
Test 1 : device : Asus MeMO PAD 7; OS : Android 5.0.1 (issue occurs at 19.09.53)
Test 2 : device : Medion Lifetab S7852; OS : Android 4.4.2 (issue occurs at 20.17.16)

I'm gonna try the 5.4.3 and let you know how it behaves on my side.

Thanks again (as usual :):rolleyes:) for your so impressive support

In theory it should revert to the 5.3.1 behavior, i've added the sync option mainly for ipad 3 retina which was fighting hard to display the stuffs, and was getting late milliseconds after milliseconds, but since it's not a behaviour i've seen myself on any of my low/mid/high range phones/tablets i have under the hand, I decided to make it optionnal, finger crossed :D I wait for your feedback :D

Wonderful, no more issue !!. Runs flawless. I'v even won an online race to celebrate it:p

Je crois que je vais écrire une chanson, genre :
Refrain (à reprendre en boucle) :
"Wotever, t'es le meilleur tra la la
Wotever t'es le master tra la la"
:laugh::laugh:

Merci encore mille fois, pour ton incroyable contribution en faveur des simracers

Cheers mate and good night (fully deserved):thumbsup::thumbsup:

Is it common to have some lag on web version (lazy to display data)?
It's highly dependent of device and dash complexity, I usually test on a bunch of devices:
last year phone (honor 8) it's really fast,
this year low cost tablet still fast,
2012 nexus 7 starting to slow down a little but really useable,
iPhone 4 ... Damn apple ...
iPhone 4s ... Almost useable but will depend of the dash

You have also a few additional things, on some games like pcars, pcars may take all CPU, in this case try to enable high process priority in the settings panel, on Web dash CPU foot print is really low so this option can be enabled with no troubles no matter the game
Pcars again with udp seems to have a weird behaviour, try to set pcars UDP to 7 or 8 minimum, it looks like pcars UDP overflow the network.
Network quality, simhub does not consumes a lot of bandwidth but requires a steady WiFi with lowest latency possible.
Finally your device may simply be fighting too hard to display the data, you can enable the web sync option to synchronize data speed and device capacity, this may help to make simhub to adapt to your device capacities.

Is it possible if simhib and shakeit apps could support automobilista sim ? And another request for shakeit app, it would be great that the app recognises the games automatically like simhub when the game starts. Thanks ;)
