Just sharing my opinions/ideas, although I'll agree with whatever is decided of course:No new championships this year. I haven't decided yet on new ones. Yesterday there were some arguments that a Group C championships on long tracks isn't a very good idea maybe.
I have a couple of ideas:
- Long tracks with Group C (Tuesdays)
- Formule 1 season 2023 tracks with a classic F1 car (Tuesdays)
- Formule 1 season 2023 Abarth/Mazda (Wednesday)
- Fat-Alfie with Abarth/Mazda (Wednesday)
- Fat-Alfie with Classic car (Mini Cooper/Skoda 130?)
Problem with the season 2023 F1 is that there are 24 races so that's almost half of the event days in a year, leaving limited space for other events.
- I'm looking forward to Group C cars, even if it's in long tracks! How long would these tracks be, by the way? Repeating Fat-Alfie's tracks would be great with them. Or other shorter tracks like Spa, Le Mans, Silverstone...
- I like the F1 idea! but in my opinion it's better to do shorter seasons, maybe dividing these tracks into several seasons. Otherwise, it's likely that many people quit.
- Personally, I prefer Mini Cooper/Skoda 130 than Mazda/Abarth, it's something new. Fat-Alfie tracks would be too long for them, though?
- I'm ok with 60-min races, but 2x30 was great too because there were more battles and reduced risks of disconnections.
- Extra idea special event: I think I have already told you that, but what about doing something similar to Race Of Champions for one week? I mean, groups and then final rounds based on 1vs1, not necessary in separated lanes but sharing the track too.
