2006-2007 Subaru Impreza WRC
My favourite WRC. It's hard for me to make a top 10 of my favourite rally cars, because, except the first two places, the rest of the top would be completed by different Subaru Impreza and Mitsubishi Lancer Evo models. To avoid that, I usually include all Imprezas in one place and Lancer Evos in another place. I'll make mi top 10(or maybe 20)favourite rally car in the future.

No mention of the Healey 3000? A major competitor in its day, the surviving works rally cars are highly prized today.

The Peel P50 holds several automotive records - the smallest production car ever made, the smallest engine ever used in a production car, and the only car ever produced on the Isle of Man. Powered by a 49cc one cylinder engine, it had one seat, one headlight, one windshield wiper, one door (on left side), and no reverse gear; instead it had a handle so you could lift that end and pull it around like a cart.

Around 50 were built from '62-'65, many still exist ...and bring $50k-$60k at auction. Recently back in production with essentially the same body/chassis, it now offers the option of a 125cc 4-stroke or an electric motor, and a top speed of 88kph.

1967 Corvette L88

In 1967, there were three little digits on the order sheet that set this car apart: L88; giving you a 427cid engine that really was never meant for the street. "Officially" rated at 430hp, most estimates have the actual output closer to 550hp. Still fast by today's standards, only 20 were made; this car sold for $3.8 mil at auction in 2014.

When a Lancia 037 raced at JGTC, current japanese SUPER GT championship in 1994.
It completed just one race at the third round of the Japanese GT Championship.
So how did it do? In a word: poorly.

The Lancia can only be described as a fish out of water. Its short-ratio five-speed gearbox wasn’t suited to circuit use and the engine was never intended to be run at high RPMs for such a sustained period of time.
Indeed, its supercharged 2.0-litre Lampredi engine mustered up 242kW and saw the 80s-spec Lancia massively outgunned by the Ferrari F40s, McLaren F1s, Porsche RSRs and Skyline GT-Rs in the top-flight GT1 category.
