Check the description from a very old update:
1.6

This is not a wet mod (search for Alberto Fracasso's wet mod for Kunos tracks to get it), it's meant to enhance the visual experience for Alberto's mod (but it works with not-wet tracks too).

What does the new switch do? It changes the properties of the road in order to have it more wet-like looking.

Sorry, I have a stupid question: What is BLM Lights for? I have Sol and CSP and lights come on (at most/many tracks) at night. It sort of seems like BLM Lights is already integrated. Does BLM Lights then give me more options for altering the lighting to my likkng?

An app to build/modify/enable/disable lights (even with multiple steps for tracks that support it, so you can have no lights, a few lights, many lights, all the lights).
And other stuff too

Oh, to modify/build... you have to select one of the 'developer' modes from the settings (it's normally set as a final user)

added Goodwood Festival of Speed 2017 to the excluded_base.ini list of BLM Lights (the track's author wrote it won't work)
The ones who update the app via Content Manger (1.16.1) will get the updated exclusion list.

I think I may have installed a dodgy mod or something because BLM Lights crashes whenever I try to open it in developer mode. Even ones that were working fine with it the other day in 1.16.1. I’ve removed all my recent mods but it still crashes on every track I’ve tried. Even the Kunos ones. Compact works fine though.

Any tips on what I should do to get it working again? I really miss it because it’s so useful. I’m using content manager and Sol. Both are versions that used to work fine with it.

I had someone else reporting the same problem, but I don't have a clue also because nobody 's sent me a log after it crashed yet and I (and many others) have never had the same issue. can you?

Ok. So after a bit more investigation it seems that if I disable FFBClip then BLM Lights works fine in developer mode. It's strange though because it worked with FFBClip in the past.

thanks for the info, there are no errors in the log you sent me, you should send the log generated after a crash, should it happen again (in PM if you want to)

I have interesting issue, I was looking at lights at LeMans,which is a huge list, and somehow my window have snapped to the wrong edge of the screen, so if I go to different racks with smaller number of lights, BLM selector is off-screen and I can't use it

is there a way to reset it ?

Hey @Patrik Marek, you can manually set a position for any apps via CM:
Settings > Assetto Corsa > App Windows

Set a low x / y value so it will be visible, then adjust it while playing.

Hey, when I try to get in the game with the compact developer window it crashes my game, how can I fix this? Sorry if this has been asked previously, I'm kinda new to this.

For python apps there is anothere log-file (same folder): "py_log.txt".

Blm lights may have problems with some track-configs, it may just work on another track.

CM wrangled the settings file, remove it:
ac\apps\python\sol_weather\settings\settings.ini
and configure blm lights app again
