Does anyone have any suggestions for a different day or time, but please remember that it must be acceptable to the US Group as well since it is a joint event.

We are building a really nice friendly group who race regularly in these, which is adding to the fun, we are all getting to know each other pretty well. Maybe the US guys would be interested in a different timing too, who knows but worth exploring.

Latest update

Here is a copy of the latest update on this proposed Club v Club series. Start dates are not confirmed, but expected to be late March kick off. Race night will Saturday nights.

We need a team of 8 drivers to race each event, so a couple of reserves will be needed as well.
Please note that we each have to drive a different car from the GT Pro class, so start thinking about which one you like.

Anyone else up for this, should be good fun. We'll also need a Racedepartment Skin for each car too.

More sign-ups please and who wants to nominate their favoured car.

Club V Club Challange
Together with AusTeam and Race Department, MotorHeadz has been planning a Club V Club challenge. These would be 3 enduro races (2 hour races) using the GT Pro cars.
Each club will be restricted to 1 of each car (1 Aston per club).
At this stage we will need 8 drivers to compete. Reserve drivers are allowed to fill vacant seats for there club.
Dates have not been confirmed but looks like it will start the weekend after Clipsal V8 round in March and held on Saturday nights(TBC).
We will be organizing a few events for driver selection over the coming weeks.

Looks good so far, these are going to be great events! I'd be keen to have a go at the Aston Martin, but I'll post up three or four preferences later. If only we had someone to make a skinpack for us so that we could, 'REPRESENT!' as the youngster's say!!!:bang:

Cam, I'm sure one of the RD skinners can come up with something for us, we just need to know what the organisers want. If it's totally up to us, we have a skinning team who would love to make a few for us, once we know what cars we are driving.

BTW, I like the look of the Saleen, so might try it out.

New Update

Latest update guys:

We have requested Racedepartment Skins from our RD Paint Shop. We have been given a block of car numbers to help this. Other clubs are getting organised, selecting their Team Members, preferred car choice, and some are even practicing already.

So, we need to start firming up our team. We need at least 8 drivers for each of the 3 rounds, you need to start notifying your preferred car choice, and car number.

I have also been advised by the organisers that we can recruit drivers from outside Australia and New Zealand if needed, but preference will go to local drivers first.

Here is the list of cars to choose from. Please nominate your preferences in order if necessary.

My form in last nights race wasn't good so i may struggle to qualify. As a result i've dropped the smooth audi and will find something more manic.

Put me down for the Lister Storm at this stage and i'll go do some testing.

BTW guys, these car selections are only tentative at this stage, just to get us moving. If we want to rearrange car choices later, I'm sure it is negotiable. Well, mine is anyway. :laugh2:

I might miss the one on the 28th of March as I will be on night-shift that week and working friday night and into saturday. I should be home from work well in time for the race, it just depends on whether I can get some sleep before the race. It might not be a good idea to race if I have been up for 24 hours :laugh2:. The other 2 dates should be fine for me.

p.s. I might change my car choice to the c6 vette. Testing pending.
