Club Member Poll

Just a reminder to all Australian & New Zealand Members, don't forget to add your name to the poll here:

http://forum.racedepartment.com/club-paddock/2162-member-introductions.html

I notice that some of our new Kiwi's still haven't added their name yet.

This is important for any future plans regarding possible new Server locations. It would be a huge improvement for us if we could justify a Server which is closer to us than Europe.

Roll Call (Mark II)

Let's find out who is on here and where they're from. If all new members could provide a brief Bio here using the below format AND most importantly HERE it would be appreciated.

Don't forget to register for the racing here: Applications

Loads of events are on soon... The Oceanic series runs on a Sunday night and will also need a registration. You can find these events in this forum: Racing Club

For the enjoyment of ALL racers, Race Department asks that racers adhere to the Race Department rules which are available HERE

All in all, this is an awesome place to race and the amount of experience and support from the better racers is brilliant.

Enjoy your time here and don't hesitate to ask for help at anytime.

Cam Wedgwood

Currently living in Far North Queensland with my wife and son. I have been racing online for around a year (when I can) but still consider myself a beginner.

I currently use an A1 Wheel and pedal set (Australian designed and made!!) to steer myself around the track. I value fair and clean racing.

I have been a part of this community since July 2007 and recognise it as a very supportive place for fledgling racers and a place where the vast experiences of all of the drivers provides challenges for everyone, no matter what experience level.

Another Queenslander, now retired (formerly Manufacturing Director) and living in Hervey Bay, right next door to paradise. :)
I'm married to a very tolerant wife, and have two adult children.
I've been racing on-line for about 18 months after starting out with many of the founders of racedepartment, at RPM, then RSC then Racedepartment.
My driving standard is probably pretty average but I always place my first priority on clean, safe driving. Most of my on-line racing is in Race 07 / GTR EVO or GTL.
My PC is very much like me, getting on in years but reliable, and I use a G25.

I'm sort of part of the furniture (although antique  ) around RD these days but I am proud to be classed as one of the founders of this great community. It has become even better now that we have a growing Oceania Community. :D

After years of messing around with other racing "games", I fell in love with GTL, my first "sim" I suppose, and raced in the XGN league for a number of seasons. At XGN, we moved on to Race07, but after the demise of XGN I found my way here with Warren's help.

I won a race once :)

I'm a midfielder, but don't care, provided I can battle for position with someone. I used to get frustrated at not getting any better, but now I'm resigned to my fate of just repeating bad habits ad nauseam. I hate understeer.
