Unity...
UNITY:O_o:
If that means they tried using the Unity engine, then I'm quite glad they didn't stick with it, Unity is a nice engine for simpler games like mobile stuff but a "big" game like AC wouldn't end up good enough with it.

I assume that it was used to test in a sketchbook fashion to test out their main ideas?

Does anyone speak Italian?! D:

I'm really interested in knowing exactly what he's talking about when he brings up the picture of the cats during the "Driving game comparison" chart thing.

Here's a couple grabs I got, a bit edited for clarity:

Assetto Corsa being in the right side, with a tiny bit in the simcade section is pretty much what we expected, and hinting at the ease of entry upon using aids AC comes with.

The free updates till 2018 sounds ridiculously awesome and almost hard to believe :D.

Well, I think there's nothing special in it - free updates=patches... to repair let's say, the broken netcode... (just kiddin' KS, don't be angry! :D).
But yeah 2018 - 5 years of support. That's nice. On the other hand i.e. Paradox is developing new patch for their Europa Universalis title and the game was released 5 years ago.

It's just good to hear that KS has got long term plans in case of AC.

Well they talked about adding new features in the future (which they simply couldn't have in v1.0 due to the time and concentrating on more important stuff), dynamic track surface, weather and all that stuff as well as DLC. So it is more than just patches and fixing bugs... I would assume :D

The most intruigung thing from the presentation for me was the Team page... 11 people working on AC is crazy... That always puts it into perspective, great work Kunos...
